So I'm curious.... how many people here display their Phandom on their walls at home? And if so, what do you have displayed? I know folks like Gopher and Hearseman have some cool displays. I'll go first. I have five Phantasm pieces on display. (1) A Phantasm Oblivion posted given to me by either Deeminator or Michael Baldwin (can't remember) featuring the signatures of Angus, Michael, Kristen, Guy, Reggie and Gigi. (2) An original painting of the Tall Man by GopherinHeat (awfully proud of this one). (3) An original painting by Matt Cail of the Tall Man in the pages of Liz' diary from P2 (love the style of this one) (4) The album that Rory Guy (Angus) won a Grammy for, signed "To Dustin McNeill, a writing colleague, from Rory Guy aka Angus Scrimm" (5) The most recent entry is a rare poster by Danny Miller created to promote a local Phantasm screening in Raleigh, NC. Limited to 79 prints, it sold out in a matter of hours. I was only able to snag a copy by contacting the screening's organizer ahead of time. What adorns your walls?

Gads this thread makes me feel bad. I have 11x17 posters for P1 and P2 as well as some posters by Chris Kutcha and a P4 poster that I won in a contest here. Sadly, right now I don't have the wall space to display them all but I promise that as soon as I get a larger space (in a few months I hope), I will proudly display my Phantasm nerd collection next to my JFK nerd collection.

Not at home right now to post pics, but I have several cool items on display, including my prized Phantasm III poster signed by d**n near everyone, some autographed 8x10s, and a couple of smaller posters. Oh, also a signed Tall Man action figure (still in the packaging of course) and a signed Phantasm comic book.
And THEN there's my collection of Romero's DEAD films...

Love that P4 poster Dustin, would you type what each person signed? Never seen such long autographs on a poster! The painting from Liz's journal reminds me of the charcoal artwork from the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark book trilogy.
I myself have an original full size poster for P3 advertising its VHS/Laserdisc release. It used to hang in a video store and amazingly the owner cared enough to preserve it in a tube. I bought it for around $20 and it doesn't look a day old. Will post a pic soon.

Unfortunately, my collection is packed away and not on the wall since i moved to the condo a couple of years ago...but before i moved i displayed my Cuda Replica signed by Regg & Mike, a Tall Man Figure signed by Angus, Regg's CD Naked Truth signed by Regg, Mizer, & Scarfo, and autographed pics of Regg, Mike, & Angus. I also displayed the Phantasm Novel signed by Don. I also have a couple of treasures signed by the killer dwarf duo Hearseman & Postmortem. Nothing to do with Phantasm, but at Fright Night '08 i also met Ghost Rider creator Gary Friedrich and he signed a Ghost Rider trading card that i displayed with my Phantasm gear. And last, i also walled personal photos of Regg, Gigi, Mike, & Angus. I desperately want Bill Thornbury & Kat Lester's autograph. *Sigh*- i need a bigger wall so i can display these again...

Love that P4 poster Dustin, would you type what each person signed? Never seen such long autographs on a poster! I've only got six autographs on my P4 poster. I'm pretty sure GopherinHeat has AT LEAST NINE AUTOGRAPHS on his P3 poster, which is pretty impressive. My poster autographs are as follows: "Dustin, you play an especially good game, boy! - Angus Scrimm" "Dustin, balls out babe! - Reggie Bannister" "Dustin my man, I'm so happy to call you my phriend. Keep your balls up! - Guy Thorpe" "Dear Dustin, you're an amazing friend! I'm honored to know you! Big hugs. - Kristen Deem" "Dustin, don't eat the yellow s***!!! - Gigi" "To Dustin, my favorite documentary producer. Best, A. Michael Baldwin." There's a story behind that last autograph. Michael and I attempted a horror documentary years ago that fell through. We took a small camera crew to both the Los Angeles and Chicago. It was an interesting and fun experience. Hoping our footage will see the light of day sometime, maybe as a mini-doc.

I remember that documentary Dustin. Had wondered what had become of it! A shame I didn't get interviewed in Chi-town though haha.

Dustin, I'd love to contribute to this thread, but I have no working camera or way of posting photos. Do you have some photos of my collection you could post for me?

Dustin, I'd love to contribute to this thread, but I have no working camera or way of posting photos. Do you have some photos of my collection you could post for me? Sure thing, Guy! These are only photos of what Guy has on display in his apartment. It represents about 2% of his entire collection, which is tubbed up in a giant closet in another room. In this first photo, check out the assortment of international Phantasm posters. There's the German P1, the British P2, two Japanese P1's and finally the US P2. This second photo reveals Guy's screen-used dwarf prop. You can barely see it, but the dwarf is leaning on a grey-felt covered box. This was a prop used in Mike's hearse in Phantasm Oblivion. You can see it very clearly in the film. The candelabra rested upon it, I believe. On the right, a British P1 quad poster and on the left, is that a Dutch P1 poster, Guy? The Red hand-bursting flyer in this photo was an original invitation to a sneak preview of Phantasm before it was released. You can spot another prop in this photo - Bob Ivy's burned-up Tall Man mask from the hearse explosion that concludes Phantasm Oblivion. Barely viewable on the left side is Guy's Phantasm III promotional clock.

Man the posters of the Phantasm films are so versatile! Compared to the US release posters which have been the covers for the US VHS releases, the others are very strange. Very reminiscent of the Evil Dead series and its diverse merchandise designs. Nice collection Guy!

Here are the things which hang on my walls. There are a couple of Phantasm related things, but I've just put on the other things as well, as they're all pretty much horror related. I'll quickly list: Evil Dead poster Phantasm Canvas print (framed) Hammer horror reproduction posters Red Dwarf film cell wall plaque Reproduction sword from Underworld 20yr Anniversary Phantasm poster (some of you may recognise) Army of darkness VHS advertisment poster I snaffled from a local Blockbuster when I was younger And some other collectables I've managed to hang onto...hope you like LOL, I've got a lot of nonsense!

Steve, the longblade sword on your wall is beautiful! What's it from?... Highlander. There can only be one! That's what I was thinking. I always wanted to get a sword but I'm wary about the state to state or overseas rule of law of transporting a sword. I think I'll get one on the sly. ;D

I saw the Clu toy on a table in a charity shop for 60p (about 30c) and thought, d**n these things are 8 times the price new, so I got it even though it was unboxed etc. As I say, one is a replica of Victor's sword from Underworld and the Kattana is just a cheap random one from a shop near me just for show. It's nothing special. I'd love a real kattana, but they're several thousand pounds and they don't generally transport them out of Japan at all. I do also have a Victorian cutthroat razor as well which I'm pretty proud of. Our laws on blades are really strict over here, but there are ways round it, buying over the internet etc. There are sites like these (this is just a random one as it does have the highlander kattana replica, but it doesn't look very good. There are better sites) www.barrington-swords.co.uk/movie_and_collector_weapons_page_2.htmI remember a funny story where the police raided this guys house and confiscated a replica Kilngon Bat'leth and charged him with having an offensive weapon. Everyone took the piss out of the police for that one.

Cool pics Steve! I have the Highlander the Series Duncan Macleod replica. I trained on a ninja-to which is a short, straight blade, but i love practicing with the katana just for fun. I also like the potato head storm trooper, too funny! I have a 'darth tater' potato head in my Star Wars Collection that someone gave me for Christmas one year. Man i dig the Army of Darkness poster, that's awesome. Off subject here, but i keep hearing that Highlander is in the remakes, which of course makes no sense when they could tell another chapter, but that's Hollywood. Again, cool collection man.-Prymal

Oh great, another film which totally contradicts all the others. I never understood why they ruined the original like that. Thanks for the comments re my stuff, I love my little Spudtrooper. It was a gift from my brother one Xmas too. My folks keep asking when we're taking this stuff down, so as not to terrify the little one when she comes around. Never! Never, I tell you! Mwahahahaha. Ahem. Sorry

I like the framed art, Floyd! My Brother snagged me some cool vintage Phantasm Collectibles a few years back...all 4 Philms on VHS! They are great, right off of the shelf of some mom & pop video store that was going under (too bad, i love those places). I love the nostalgia of those things, great art on the covers, memories of my first viewings of all 4 Philms (all rented VHS). I would love to have them signed as follows: Phantasm 1 -Mike: P2- Regg: P3-Bill : P4-Angus. Again, love the pic Floyd.-Prymal
