No feedmont, he's talking about Timmy... the mentally challenged kid up the street.

Yea, after Mike gets trapped under the 'Cuda, he hits Jody on the foot with a hammer before he crawles out from underneath!

I will be straight forward. I like Phantasm III but it has some problems. Tim is one of those problems. There is a reason he is missing from the forth philm.

awwww…I thought Tim was adorable. The part that got me was when Reggie was paying the woman to take care of him and then you see Tim drinking from garden hose and the water dribbling out of his mouth. That little face just got to me. Don’t leave him there Reggie

Hey guys! Not on that much, just thought i would give my response (like anybody asked, lol). I am one of the die hards i'm afraid. I think of all of the Philms as one BIG film, and i think you cannot question Coscarelli! I liked all of the Philms "as is"! I wished Baldwin was around for 2, but in my mind that has been answered with the proposed "meeting of the Mikes" in stephen r.'s 5 script (i know, i know, old news and its now defunct but still...) I liked all of the Philms and took something different from each one of them. I think of 1 as Mikes, 2 as Reggs, 3 as Jodys, and of course 4 as The Tall Mans. Of course one of the truly great things of Phantasm is the "great debates & viewpoints" of each beholder! I liked Tim, and i thought the "apparent" demise of the character added to the Tall Man's supremacy of taking all of his prey out (except for Regg, Yah!!)!! Course, this is Phantasm so who knows? Maybe Tim will show up as a helpful sentinel in 5, a demonic bad guy, or for all we know he was never there to begin with!!

Tim i didn't mind but the worst was Rocky, her talking sounded forced and at times like she was reading from a cue card.

@lm:
Now that I look at that scene, I don't think it is very far from what was going on with Mike in P1. Jody was going to send Mike off to his Aunt, and now Reg was going to send Tim off to someone. A nice little correlation there. It gave the film a very human side and brings back the abandonment storyline.

Woohoo, thread bumps. Never really liked Tim, he was one of the things I didn't like about the third film. Mike was a "bad*ss kid" in the first film, but in a realistic way(I'm pretty sure there are some kids out there who've been taught to drive and use guns way before they're allowed to have a licence). Tim, however, was the sort of thing you'd get some slapstick adventure comedy...oh wait... Also, has anyone else noticed how similar Tim dresses to Mike from the first film?

Just watched P3 again recently and Tim's "tough kid" persona really seemed forced to me.

I stand by Tim's character: He coulda grew into a bad*ss! Maybe he is a bad*ss seein' that he is either dead or working for the biggest bad*ss of all!

I'd like to see him re-appear as a kind of John Connor/Kyle Reese type of character. A kid forced to grow up quickly and become an actual bad ass, as opposed to the persona he tried to put on as a kid.

...Wasn't there a TIMMY mentioned in P-1...? Jody mentioned Timmy after Mike whacked Jody's foot with the hammer.

So do we assume Tim died? They never even mention him in 4 even though he just got pulled through the glass like Mike did in part 1.
