Aside from calling Bill Thornbury "Bill Thornsbury"... and calling the sphere a "crystal ball"... and thinking Phantasm 2 "sucked"... and saying Oblivion was "nothing special"... and going on about how Reggie has had "absolutely no career"... this isn't too horrible.
Actually yes, yes it is horrible. The only redeeming factors here are that they praise Angus, and that they both seem to love the movie.
I caught this online recently. I rated it 1 stars. Almost left a mean comment, but I try not to be so mean. Doing the site and the podcast and putting my name on it - I know how difficult it is to put yourself out there with the fear of being called stupid or dumb.
But those guys are both. Bah.
And what's with people on Youtube stealing my P5 teasers and uploading them to their own accounts? Bullsh!t, that is.
Basically the civilians' Phantasm review Hey, it really is cool fellas, these guys aren't big fans but they weren't exactly degratory in their criticism either. Reg really didn't do any movies between P1 and P2 so they probably didn't mean to be offensive with that, nor have they seen or obviously thought about any of the theories and stuff, they just wanted to be entertained and for the first 3 films, they were (If you're one who doesn't often think of the theories, then you'll probably agree that P4 was a weak point ).

I didnt know Reg didnt do any flicks between P1 & P2? What a bummer. What a loss for the world, all that good Reg time waisted! The first time I ever saw Reg (in P1 in 79) I liked him right off the bat! I though he was one of the coolest dudes I ever saw on the sliver screen. I knew I never saw him again after P1 (bummer) till P2. But back then we had no computers no internet so it wasnt easy for a Joe like me to keep up with the RegMan"s work.

secret007: Sorry about the last message being off-topic. I just came from a SAW forum and my mind was still there. I forgot momentarily I had logged onto Phantasm. I can't wait to see Phantasm: Ravager.

postmortem: Hello, everyone. Looks like the reason I couldn't log in for so long was that I was trying to use Safari with no luck. Firefox works, though. Thanks, Dustin, for the tip! :-D
