The last movie i watched was Red Riding Hood. I enjoyed this very much, it is certainly no Phantasm, but it did keep us guessing on whom the wolf was. Great acting and superb background. I love those grandiose sets, you just don't see those often anymore. I have already posted on the other movie, Insidious, but just a recap that i liked that movie also. The sound effects in Insidious, especially that bone-chilling music was excellently placed and played. Not often that i like new horror movies that much, let alone 2 back to back. These were great, what did you guys think of these?

I watched a pretty good 80's flick this past weekend...anyone out there remember Witchboard? I think it has aged well and is a decent movie. Whenever i first watched this movie back in the 80's, i found a Ouji Board just a few days later in the basement of an old Church, at the time i thought that was kinda creepy!-Prymal

Last horror movie i watched was Devil's Advocate with our own Gloria Henry making an appearance. This is the first time i have watched it and i found it to be good. Has anyone watched Don't be Afraid of the Dark yet?

I actually just bought Devil's Advocate on dvd. I, too, love this movie. Although I really cannot stand Keanu Reeves, I absolutely love Al Pacino in this.

I've just finished watching "Barney's Version" with Paul Giamatti. A touching tale of a man and his family and various f*** ups through his life. R|eally recommend that one.
Also seen Ironclad and Cold Souls with him in, as he's quickly becoming a favourite of mine. Obviously can't wait to see him in JDATE.

Rubber (2010) by Mr. Oizo himself, Quentin Dupieux. The man made some really strange and trippy music videos like Flat Eric and this movie is no different with a actual tire going around this desolate small town, blowing up people and blowing up objects with it's "mind" Wierd movie but I reccommend it.

Finished watching the Poltergeist trilogy; watched the first on demand through my cable provider, the second on Amazon Prime, and the third on DVD (the latter which was one of my many birthday presents October 9th. PS. I'm now 30!!!). Finished the 3rd film and it was OK ( after doing research, I preefer the original intended ending over the theatrical ending, even though in a way it did end happily ). The first 2 were excellent.
