"Maurice Toitletop didn't walk like that! He walked a little irrgular like this...boida boida bop, boida boida bop."
Love that movie.
Just saw Pet Semetery 2. Mainly for Clancy Brown, but entertained all round I thought.

re-watched Full Metal Jacket. I gotta say, whenever the Marines are walking through the burning ruins of the city of Wey, i could definitely see Mike Pearson strolling through the post apocalyptic world after the Tall Man's full scale invasion. -Prymal

Expendables 2 , VERY good, very amusing. I walked in wanting to see all of the old action heroes that i grew up watching and really not expecting much else, but this movie did of course have TONS of action, but it was also very funny with a clever plot and even a few twists. If you don't like action movies, this one probably won't change your mind, but if you do then this is the movie you have been waiting on.It was great seeing these guys on film again, really great to see them together (most for the first time), and REALLY great to see Jean Claude Van Damme back on the big screen. Best movie i have seen in awhile and one of the best action movies i have ever watched, instant classic. In the words of Homer Simpson, "I give it 23 thumbs up!" -Prymal P.S.- for those of you who won't agree...what do i care? You're not even supposed to be on the internet during office hours...GET BACK TO WORK!!!-Prymal

"Bernie" .... Jack Black plays a funeral director from a small east Texas town who murders a widow and tucks her away in the freezer for nine months (true story by the way). Being a funeral director myself not far from the same east Texas town in the movie made it a must see.

Vitaman, I thought that Dolph was great. He had a pretty major share of lines, which was a little creepy to me at first seeing that most of his movies that i grew up with he didn't always say that much, but it was good! Algormortis, isn't it always a little unsettling to see that kinda thing so close to home? Remember the Ray Marsh incident a few years ago out here near Atlanta? Not only was that very close to where i lived at the time, but my wife worked at the phone company at the time and actually talked to his sister which was a little weird for her.

prymal, I most definately remember the Ray Marsh incident...it was the talk in the funeral industry for quite some time. We even had some families questioning which crematory we used and how reputable they were. And yes, it is somewhat unsettling when these things happen so close to home.

Not a movie, but anyone out there ever watch "A Haunting" series? I think that i have seen them all at least twice. Not sure why this went away, but i wish that someone would start making them again. "Paranormal Witness" on Sy Fy is along those lines if anyone is interested. My favs on 'A Haunting" would be 'A Haunting in Connecticut' & 'A Haunting in Georgia'. Connecticut was wwaaayyy better than its movie counterpart and both are creepy as hell.

Wow, wishes do come true! "A Haunting" has been off the air for 3-4 years and Travel Channel just announced a new season for next month for Halloween! Anyone who has not seen this should check it out. I hope it is made by the same crew or it may not work! Now, here's wishin' for Phantasm 5 reeeaaallll hard!

Silent Hill : Revelations 3-D. Great Halloween movie! When the ash was falling in 3 D, it was almost like walking through the streets of Silent Hill. If you did not like the first one, don't bother seeing this, it won't change your mind. I wish Coscarelli had thought of this first, whenever the walls start burning away and everything becomes that "creepy" dilapidated look as the darkness falls, i was picturing the Tall Man having that effect in the world of Phantasm.

I watched Red Lights & The Raven. I really liked Red Lights except for the ending, and The Raven had a good, creepy look to it. John Cussack was an interesting choice for Poe, but i think he came through...

Batman 'The Dark Knight Rises' & Amazing Spiderman, both good but i actually liked Spiderman better. Bought a disc holding 11 movies- Prophecy Franchise & Hellraiser Franchise starting at 3. I have only seen Prophecy 1 and a couple of the Hellraisers, so i hope these are worth watching, but if not i did at least like the 1st Prophecy and Hellraiser3.
