Dead Man (1995) - with Johnny Depp; unconventional western shot in B & W. Has some weirdness and humor to it as well.
Prometheus - I liked it. I don't understand why a lot of people out right hated it. A lot of tension in the last 15 minutes or so. Felt like a blend of ALIENS and AVP a lot of the time.

Caught the Evil Dead remake yesterday. I didn't really like the whole reason why the group was there in the first place. Yeah the special effects were great for no cgi, but the writing just lacked something. Compared to other remakes like Nightmare on Elm Street, it is one of the better ones, but compared to the original, it fell short.

As of late: Sinister, Cowboys & Aliens, re-watched Wax Works (Still a great movie, David Warner is tops, and STILL waiting for Wax Work 3, LOL), Ong Bak 3, Universal Soldier; Day of Reckoning, Prometheus, a couple of episodes of Stranded on Sy Fy,. Sux that Walking Dead season is over, Sux more that Disney is killing everything is sight of "classic lucas Star Wars", not really surprised at this though...

Hellraiser: "Hell Seeker". I thought this was a good entry in the Hellraiser franchise.

OblIVion (2013) - *A thinking person's sci-fi philm. Pays homage to several classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Star Wars, but it's far from secondhand. Even a novice can pick up on the symbolism and numerology. Need to see it again. 9/10 Don't get too involved, you might get a little weepy at the end. ;D That's if you have a soul left. * I've heard some cognitively challenged people say that this was a Matrix rip off. There's like one scene for about 45 seconds that is similar to the Matrix (which is similar to The X-Files movie, which is similar.....), but if you really pay attention to the scene you'll discover it's not even close.

Watched Body Double (1984) A Brian De Palma film. Had not seen that movie probably since the 80s! Gory and suspenseful.

The Alien Factor Saw this when i was a kid after school in the late 70s. Recently watched it again. This movie is still really spooky to me. I'm not sure how, but i think Mark Borchardt from American Movie could have traveled back in time and made this , before Coven or Northwestern! trailerfull with ads
