I posted this on Facebook, but I think it would be more appropriate here. I took this image and carved it into a pumpkin. It's not perfect, and part of the nostril fell off, but for my first time carving using the technique that I used, it looks pretty awesome! Have any of you guys done anything Phantasm-ish for Halloween? Attachments:

That's awesome, Natalie! Kudos! I still need to go out to the orchard and pick my pumpkin.

That picture of your niece is terrifying. It's like the start of some crazed horror movie!

Pumpkin looks awesome! I agree with Steve on your niece, it reminds me of Zombie's version of Halloween when Michael Meyers is a kid...

Nat, couldn't help but show this to the Tall Man, who responded:
"Loved the carved pumpkin. Pie anyone?"

Okay, I made another Phantasm pumpkin carving this year. I decided to carve the Oblivion's cover art.

Haha, thanks Scubasteve! Well, I finished another one this morning. It's not Phantasm, but it has Coscarelli all over it. From John Dies at the End. Sorry if I stretch the board.

Both really cool! Really like the Oblivion pumpkin, that is my favorite of all of the Phantasm Cover Arts!

Are all the images loading for you guys? It seems that they aren't loading on my computer But I did do another carving of the Tall Man. Sucks a part of his tie fell off. This was originally a collage, with Mike by his side, but I totally screwed up the stencil, so I did a little cover up.

Yeah, it didn't load. Weird. I tossed it on the Archives server and linked it here. I know someone that's going to loooooove your carving, Natalie. Terrific work, as always.

I'm glad you like it! Just maybe I might go out and buy a fake pumpkin and try this again.
That has always been my favorite photo of him.
