No matter what you do to the Tall Man, he keeps coming back...shoot him, hang him, burn him, hit him with his own spheres, bury him in a mine shaft, freeze him...whatever! And yet he does have a weakness besides the slight aversion to cold we've seen, and I have discovered it.
Take a look at Phantasm II while the Tall Man is getting pumped full of acid via the embalming machinery. In one shot of his meltdown, he rolls his head back a bit in a scream, and you can see he has had a considerable amount of dental work done. It's hard to imagine the Tall Man calling a dental office for an appointment, getting x-rays, sitting there with that suction thing hanging off his bottom lip while the the dentist goes scraping away with hooks and tiny drills, but it clearly happened.
Dental amalgam did exist in the 1800s, so maybe Jebediah Morningside could have had some of that work done, but I'm guessing that the only true weakness of the Tall Man is actually tooth decay and improper flossing. Reggie should give up the quad gun and start the Tall Man on eating ice cream and candy!
