first off if posting this is against any rules Dustin please just delete the thread, no offense will be taken. but i wanted to post this as i made it awhile back then just now brightened it up and shrunk it down in size. it doesn't look as cool as in the actual movie but i think still fun to see.

That's awsome. By the way, how do you make those movie images?

I don't know if this was intended or is a little mistake. The scar on his head has red blood, but isn't he supposed to have yellow blood? It goes the same when Alchemy pulls her hair out. If she was one of the Tall Man's slaves, shouldn't it have been yellow, not red?

That's awsome. By the way, how do you make those movie images? the way i know how/learned by trial and error is to take a video clip as in avi/mpeg etc. and load it up in ulead gif animator 5. then save all individual frames as pictures/jpeg. load them up in a photo editing program if i need to adjust brightness, contrast, tone etc. then load those image frames back up into the gif animator and adjust it accordingly by how many frames i will use and the speed of each frame. i find using 30 seconds or less of a video clip works best. still at that length i end up deleting a lot of frames as i end up working with about 180 frames on average. to use more than 30 frames in a gif makes it very large. if i can whittle that down to say 15 frames and have it as seamless as i can when i sometimes loop them. then the file isn't as large in kilobytes but larger in dimension/size. P.S. and thank you

The first gif looks like Tally is snotting everywhere. yeah it does. i made the gif play as fast as possible but it still doesn't match the speed it was done in the film.

If she was one of the Tall Man's slaves, shouldn't it have been yellow, not red? if you listen to the comentary Don had an idea where Angus would 'morph' from Samantha into The Tall Man and there was an alternate line in which he said after "it's just a dream" in which he replied "then what am i? the tooth fairy?"

That is a mighty cool GIF, bcg. I welcome you to post more of them. It's not against any rules just so long as the GIF isn't of the entire film.

That is a mighty cool GIF, bcg. I welcome you to post more of them. It's not against any rules just so long as the GIF isn't of the entire film. that wouldn't be possible. usually the best gifs have only 3 to 10 seconds of video in them. to post more will take time as i would need to extract the source video. but i will look into it and post anything i come up with in here.

ok i just finished up converting 4 dvd's into stand alone avi files. about 10 hours to do. that was the time consuming part so now i will have to go over each film and take notes on which small segments to use to make into gif files. i will get to that part soon enough and post any good results i get.
