Once in a while I like to watch these movies from 1 to 4. These movies are so fun to watch. Especially the first one since it is my favorite. Definitely my favorite movie series and movies. I remember being so excited when I finally got all of the movies. Best movie, best villain, and best characters in a horror movie.

I've no idea how long it would take to watch all four movies one after the other, but I'd definitely be up for it! ;D

I've done a marathon over a long weekend before and it was a lot of fun to watch.
I think I may need to do another one soon this summer.

Every year or two, I set aside seven hours to watch the entire series back to back to back to back. I recommend starting around lunch and going through dinner, and making sure to do so with friends.

That sounds like fun! I've never done that myself! Lots of Pepsi and buttered popcorn along to stay awake. SGDragoon, you were born eight days after my first surprise phone call from Angus Scrimm. I'll never forget that night! My parents looked so shocked/dumbfounded as they handed the phone to me. He turned out to be a really genteel, erudite gentleman--inviting me and my family to lunch with him that summer. But I was still too speechless to say anything much coherent! Ha ha!

Shoot, I would probably be one of the happiest people in the world if I had a phone call like that. I will be seeing him in Indy next month and just talking with him for 5 minutes would make me ecstatic.. Although it is a shame that that is all I will get. But as for the marathon, I've actually unintentionally had one once...except I went 4 to 1, haha. I started watching 4 one day, and then said to myself, "you know, I haven't watched the 3rd one in a while." And then continued down the series...or should I say up the series?

I believe I will be able to pull off another marathon next week. It has been awhile since I last did one, but logistics may work out.
I'm planning 1 and 2 one day, 3 and 4 the next.

Still haven't started the marathon yet. Real life keeps jumping in the way!
I am hoping I can do it 1 and 2 tomorrow, 3 and 4 Friday.

I had a Phantasm marathon a few days ago after I found out there's going to be a fifth film! Omg I forgot how much I enjoyed these films. I can remember seeing the very first one at the cinema way back when I was 14 and it left a lasting impression on me. The tall man is one of my favourite characters along with Reggie and Michael.

watched all four again in a single sitting almost exactly a year ago. wound up at around 4am, exhilarated and higher than ever on the series. this week, with all the talk of RAVAGER, i threw on OBLIVION for a refresher. couldn't stop there. continued with the others, backwards in sequence on consecutive nights, saving the best 'til last!
