I was wondering whether anyone has had a chance to see this yet? I managed to catch it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a really fun movie/musical and a tribute to all of the american sci fi movies of the 1950's.
The reason I mention it here is that one of the main characters is a two-bit music promoter played by Reggie Bannister and he's great in it. His wife Gigi also makes an appearance in it (she's in the crowd during a concert)
Might not be for everyone, but it was good fun. Trailer below

Steve,
I thought this movie would never see release! In fact, I can remember Reggie and Gigi talking about this one back in 2007 when I first met them up at Monster Mania. Saw the film earlier this year and, like you, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Very funny stuff.
I have a really cool poster signed by the director I need to find a frame for. He wrote on it: "Dustin, Stay Ghatly!" Also have some cool faux-lobby cards for the film. Just need to get the soundtrack to complete the collection.

That's pretty sweet! I think they've set off a trend for using the old 35mm film again, as I heard the new star wars was going to be shot using it to keep the same look as the old films.
Glad that it managed to get off the ground and to see the Reg Man (and Gigi).

The original motion picture soundtrack has been released on CD and is available through Kritzerland in a limited edition of 1000 copies only!
