So here's something a little peculiar. On the back cover of a more recent edition of "John Dies at the End," there's a supportive blurb from Don Coscarelli. Notice how he's credited. “David Wong is like a mash-up of Douglas Adams and Stephen King . . . ‘page-turner’ is an understatement.” --Don Coscarelli, director, Phantasm I–V and Bubba Ho-tep
[/blockquote] Now this quotation was pretty widely used to promote the book. Not only is it actually in the book, but it's also in the material sent out to publishers. It's everywhere... even on the official Amazon page listing. The weird thing is... the writer and director behind the hush secret Phantasm project of the last few years is not Don Coscarelli. Sure, he's involved... but someone else has been at the helm. Nonetheless, you'd expect the writer of Don's latest picture to be right about whether or not a P5 exists, right?

I would imagine this is just a typo... maybe?
I just don't get the feeling that a "true" sequel will be made. I'm still waiting on Dread Central to own up to their BS and say who their source was for the big "announcement" last year.
