I'm a big Dr Who fan. I grew up wathing Peter Davidson and Sylvester McCoy and later on saw repeats of the Tom Baker ones. I have to say Tom Baker is a clear favourite. The new ones are OK, but I got tired of some of the storylines and Catherine Tate is just awful. Worse than Bonnie Langford. The Genesis of the Daleks and The Caves of Androzani have to be my favourite episodes. I much preferred the two and three episode storylines as opposed to the new format of one story per episode (with the occasional exceptions). That said, Martha Jones (played by Freems Agyeman) is a fantastic character and was a shame I didn't see more of her. I wish Paul McGann had more of the crack of the whip in terms of air time. It always confused me as to why he got counted as a timelord, but Peter Cushing never did. Roll on August... New Dr Who

He played an excentric human named Docter Who. who claimed to have invented the Tardis himself.

Blasted predictive text! If you like Peter Capaldi, I take it you'll have seen In the Loop? Here's a comedy sketch based on that at the time they announced his appointment to the role of the Dr NSFW
