On March 27th, 2014 we were given the first trailer and full details on Phantasm: Ravager. We are now approaching a full year since the announcement and we've received no additional information.
I propose we rally. On March 27th 2015, I think we should all go on facebook and Twitter and ask Reggie, Don, David Hartman when this movie will be released? I suggest posting on the Phantasm and Phantasm Ravager page as well.
Who's with me?
This was posted on the IMDb page as well. Let's get this thing going!

I suggest posting on the Phantasm and Phantasm Ravager page as well. As someone with some small measure of insider knowledge, let me just say that I don't think this will have any effect whatsoever. Social media pestering? That is supposed to force them to tell you something? It may not seem like it, but Don has a game plan up his sleeve. The whole Phantasm crowd went from 2008 to 2014 without even officially acknowledging this project existed. They are very good at sitting on things and only revealing information when they want to. I admire your tenacity and "go get 'em" attitude, but the reality is that you'll get information on this movie when Don wants you to have it. Ravager will be all over the internet before you know it. Photos, interviews, a new trailer, more convention announcements, new merchandise, the works.

I suppose you're right. I need to remember this is a low-budget, direct-to-dvd, syfy original wannabe. . Not something to be excited about. It looks like the whole thing was shot on a green screen. I guess I'm just irritated having to wait for this when there's an 80% chance it will suck.. anyways, scratch that idea, fellas.

I don't think it's going to suck. Sure, it's been a long wait, but I'd rather wait than have it rushed. I also think the movie will look very different from the trailer. Hell, the Phantasm 2 trailer looks like garbage compared to the final product. I'm pretty much dying for any new info. It's hard to remain patient after so long, but I suppose we'll have to wait.

At least we could have had a date to look forward to. Maybe it wouldn't have garnished a release date, but I don't think we would be given the cold shoulder either. Otherwise we have nothing to look forward to. Sure, the eventual release will be nice, but it's A LOT of build up for what will amount to be a YouTube video.

We still don't know who is distributing yet. I have a feeling Coscarelli and co will sign with Scream Factory and eventually release a box set of all 5 films. Either that or he'll go with someone like Magnet. Regardless, my guess is that we won't be seeing this film until October. What do you guys think?

When the movie is finally out lets buy it, lets collect all merchandise and really support their effort, and by that support it as something selling good.
by doing so, showing interest and throwing our money in their direction, maybe phantasm 5 is just the beginning of a bright future... and not the end...
I'm prepared to spend, Don & c:o, offer me things to spend it on! =)
