The real issue for the last year is would Don do a George Lucus on Phan. New Line tried to reboot many years ago...now the real issue, and remember on my earlier posts I talked about the "reboot" it is for real....If you wanted me to guess the reboot would be without don directing it, he might have some input...look for a minor "major" studio to option the rights....in the near future, and Phan 5 has more blood and action then any of the previous movies..just a heads up

i have no interest in a reboot, with or without don's involvement. zero. PV being more action oriented is slightly worrisome to me, since that's basically what we got with PII, and i like that one least of all, by far.

I rank them myself 1-1,, 4-2( very underrated with zero budget), 2-3, and 3-4...2 with the real mike could have been potentially the best one of the series . Don't worry about the action, the story line is super........

thanks for the interesting thoughts...I was aware of a alternate version..longer on 2...I believe it was available on a bootleg copy or something like...I have never seen it...but do you think that could make a difference?

P2 effects were top of the line (big budget of course), followed by P3, then P4, then P1. How would you rank the P5 effects? If you haven't seen the film, disregard, (as i know you said you were given info from a trusted source).

I was told there were more practical effects and CGI than any other installment based on the 2 hour rough cut...that being said, they will be at least equal if not better than any of the past installments due to advanced tek combined with a bigger practical number of effects...we are gonna have to judge this by 2016 standards. I would not worry, the story which is most important kicks...well ASSSSSSSS

That's great, i guess David Hartman collaborated with Don to come up with a great story/plot to send us out with a bang!
