I know this is probably a crazy thing to ask but does anyone here own or actually seen one of these cars in person?
I have been ebaying and searching for one cheap enough that I can actually afford which is no easy task.
I love muscle cars but all other ones fail in comparison to the mighty Cuda for me.
I even had someone advise me to buy a Dodge Challenger since they both look almost identical but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Basically the way I tell them apart is this
The 60's Cudas look nothing like the 70's Cudas so thats easy.
The 70 model only has 2 headlights the 71 has 4 headlights and the 72-74 models has circular tailights. ;D

I've seen some. Where I live, just up town, every Thursday in the summer there is something called Cruise Night. It's a car show, and I've seen some Cudas there.

i saw one some years ago while heading to Rhode Island to visit my grandmother. i quickly rolled down the window and asked if the car was indeed a Barricuda. it was, i don't know which model/year but it was similar to the Phantasm one just not the same.

I saw a yellow Dodge Charger today. I don't know crap about cars but it did say "HEMI" across the hood so I'm guessing that it had a Hemi engine or something.

I think he means this article which is located on the Archives rather than Phantasm5.com. Easy mistake to make, though. (raises glass) Here's to seeing another rad Cuda in number five! www.phantasmarchives.net/art_cuda.html

That is a beautiful car! How much did it set you back to get it? I have been into these mopars since way back in the 70's and 80's. It took a very long time of searching (before the internet) for this car....I was fortunate to get this car before they skyrocketed in price and value.

Yeah I know what you mean about skyrocketing in price. I'm afraid the closest I can afford to getting one would be a Challenger.

Don't give up on your dream if you really want one.......there's always the hope of one sitting in some old lady's barn waiting to be found.
