Looking for you folks to show - who aren't in Italy, LOL. Our Q&A last night was Heckled by none other than Ed Neal (Texas Chainsaw) who's one of our dearest friends. Hands down the funniest man alive. When he and I get started on voices and characters... look out!!! LOL He made Regman laugh so hard one time he fell out of a booth! Talk about ROTFLMAO!!!

Natalie, you heard it from both regman and fastelk. You are going to be the ambassador from the Phantasm Community. Do us proud. I wish I could attend.

Too bad there isn't a similar convention in Ohio. I'd probably be able to make one of those. I understand why there aren't too many conventions in Ohio...because the Tall Man has always laid waste to a majority of the state.

Sorry about that Dustin. Chicago Horror Film Festival 10/06/07 Me and my brother, Matt, left the house around 9:30 in the morning to head up to the University of Chicago for a Physics seminar. It was probably around 11:30 we left for the Portage Theatre. Traffic was such a b*tch. We spent about 3 hours on the road due to all of the road construction. We got to the theatre a couple hours after the doors opened. I was actually surprised to see there weren't a lot of people there. In the hall, there were about six or seven booths lined up against the walls, and in the lobby near the concession stand, there were two empty booths. We saw Master Ron Fitzgerald and John Lechago and talked with them for a while. Me and Matt started looking at the posters that were for sale and I was so close to getting a Pink Floyd: The Wall photo, but I didn't... Since Reg and Gigi hadn't shown up yet, Matt got curious and asked one of the staff and they said that Reg was having a bit of car trouble... a flat tire. About 45 minutes later, we see Reg and Gigi walk in. After they set up their table in the lobby, and we go up to them and introduced ourselves. My brother pretty much asks all the questions, lol. We got to talk to them for about an hour or so because the place wasn't really packed like the Monster Mania convention and got a couple of autographs and pictures. We talked about all four Phantasm films, Bubba Ho-Tep, Last Rites, and a bunch of other films. Around 7 at night, we decided to head back home, hoping there wouldn't be heavy traffic. We said our goodbyes and headed out. Here's us... We might go back on Sunday, since we bought the weekend pass. It all depends if my brother wants to drive us there.

Matt brought up when was the first time he got the yellow blood squirted into his face/mouth, and couldn't remember if he got it in II, but we knew he did in III. He also talked about how they got the shot in OblIVion where Angus was walking down the completely empty street. I was talking with Gigi about Bruce Campbell not being in Bubba Nosferatu and such. When I introduced myself, Reg heard my name and asked, "Hey, are you the one on the Phantasm site?" and I was like, "yeah", because my username is my name, and they must have recognized it.

It looks like I'm not going back today. It takes about an hour to get there and too late in the day, plus we don't know how late Reg's stayin' til.

Take some notes? Bah. The last Bannister appearance I attended rated about a 40 on the awesome scale. Monster Mania 9 - did you not see the mass-coverage?
