Yeah I do get what you're saying, and I can see what you mean completely. I just don't like when people say that they couldn't see Baldwin doing the "bad*ss" things that LeGros does in P2. Sorry for jumping to conclusions on your post, Natalie!

No need to apologise. That's the thing with talking on forums, someone can read your post differently than how you are trying to say what you're saying.

I'm not sure about you all, but I would find it wierd/different seeing Michael with a flame thrower and digging up graves, and everything else James did. See, I see people say this all the time... and I don't really get it. I mean in P1, don't we see a young Mike Pearson use guns, drive a Cuda, wield a knife, and blow a hole in his door with a shotgun shell and a hammer? If anything, I find A. Michael Baldwin's portrayal of Mike as the "bad*ss" between the two. Yes, I agree. Seeing Michael A. Baldwin dig up graves and using a flamethrower would have been awesome. I also would have changed the scene where Reg is lecturing him on if "they" see him digging up graves and such they'll throw him back in the looney bin. It would have happened like: Michael, grabbing Reg by the collar of his shirt, would have responded, "Reg, don't lecture me or I'll beat your ice cream peddling ass!"

I don't think Le Gros was that much of a "bad ass" in 'Phantasm II'. He had those cool flamethrowers but... well, he didn't seem very willing to use those, isn't it?

I like both the AMB and LeGros Mikes, and honestly don't have a preference over one or the other. I think James did excellently in P2 considering the pressure the film was under, and it was nice to have AMB back for P3 and P4.
