I suggest while we wait for a R1 release, lets buy the R2 Japan Release. Think about it: It's in an NTSC Format (FOR THE FIRST TIME!) with 5.1 EX and DTS Tracks, the Japanese subtitles are removable, includes the trailer and TV Spots, trailers for I and III, and a VERY RARE trailer for OblIVion. Besides who knows, maybe someone at Universal could buy it and be able to release it in the US (with different menus and the Greg Nicotero featurette of course. ).

Call me crazy, but do you think it's possible for Legend Films to distribute Phantasm II on dvd? 'Cuz according to Wikipedia: "Legend Films plans to distribute films licensed from other studios" Does anyone think there could be a shot at that?

Again, I highly doubt it. I'm almost positive that there won't be a Phantasm II DVD for a really long time...if ever.

today I saw two pretty decent looking Phantasm II bootlegs NTSC fullscreen with all DVD extras and chapters on these asian street vendors. They also had a workprint version! I wont comment further
