Spot on, Nitelinger! That's the exact scene.
Funny, if you read the small text below the photo it says "Bill Thornbury grapples with a hooded spectre in this menacing moment from PHANTASM"...
That's not true at all!

Haha that part is pretty hilarious. If by hooded spectre they mean his little brother with a hammer then they are absolutely correct.

I thought it was . I recall I really liked that bit. It was pretty freaky, Mike under the car and all and you think something really bad is about to happen. Your on the edge of your seat and.....BONK......AWWWW! Then it turns out lite hearted and funny. Don is the greatest at that kind of stuff. You think one thing is going to happen and then it turns around and something else happens. He takes a terrifying moment and spins it and makes it funny....gotta love it!

The first time I saw Phantasm I thought for sure that Cuda was gonna fall on Mike's legs.
That is for sure the scene where Mike hammers Jody's foot though.

That entire scene combined both horrorness (is that a word), with comedic relief. This is one of Don's great abilities, and helps to set him on his own plateau in this genre.
