Greetings Phans, i just had to tell you about my Granddaughter's first introduction into the Phantasm World. I was rewatching P3 and my Granddaughter just kinda wondered into the room and fell into watching it with me. She is 5 years old, but it was an edited version, so i let her watch it with me. She really got into it, with Tim and all as a character she could relate to. Well, of course the Tall Man scared her somewhat, so i reminded her that she was with me a few years ago when we met Angus, Regg, & Mike and assured her it was "all in fun" and that this was just a movie. I thought i had succeeded until i came back into the room a little while later and asked my Wife where the children were at and she said: "Your Granddaughter needed to use the restroom, but was afraid to go up the stairs alone, because the Tall Man would get Her! So, she (being 5) recruited her 2 1/2 year old brother to stand guard while she went in!" You know, it's times like this i realize my Family will probably put me into one of those nursing homes in the future, and not one of the good ones with the golf courses and a pool, but one of the bad ones like on 20/20. Gotta tell you guys, being a Phan has its price. -Prymal

That's too bad she's scared, but the up side is that she's guaranteed to have memories of watching that with you for the rest of her life!

I cant wait to share these films when we get some younger kids in the family. I hope it scares them but also makes them want to come back for more.
I hope thats what happens with your granddaughter. She will have those memories of you later in life.
