Ok the dream sequence with Reggie getting it on with Rocky and Jody appears. This is clearly a dream right?
Because Jody takes Reg through a door into the Lake bed and tells Reg he is somewhere in his mind or something along those lines.
So unless I'm forgetting a scene doesn't Jody take Reggie directly to Mike and gets him out of the Tall Man's Bunker?
So the question here is how could Jody pull Reggie from his dream into reality?

That's always something I thought about but couldn't come to any conclusion. That tends to happen to me a good bit with the Phantasm philms.

I'm not sure either. I usually go with a dream interuption within his dream.

I always thought it was all a dream until Mike comes through the gate Jody has opened and Reg needs to get up and close it.

It was a dream, most definitely a dream.
But let us keep in mind that just because it's a dream doesn't mean it didn't happen or isn't real.

So the question here is how could Jody pull Reggie from his dream into reality? Very simple. Jody's a xenodimensional now. He can do things like that. He can also turn himself into a silver ball and float around defying gravity, so pulling Reggie out of one reality-strata into another would be child's play.

It was a dream. Jody got into his head and took him to rescue Mike. We only get two Reg man dream sequences. Shame.
Without P3 we wouldn't be aware of the sphere in Mike's head.

No... really? ;D Ok I have to admit its starting to grow on me a little. Its the comedy and zombies tends to turn me off. I didn't mind some of the comedy but the Zombies and Tim and partly Rocky really bothered me.

I have been watching quite a bit of this one and P2 lately. I go through spurts where I watch one of them over and over, then a different one. Wierd.

That has been my trend lately. Perhaps due to P1 & P4's heavy material. P2&3 are a nice break from all of the brainstorming P1&4 require.
