Not only is this a rockin song, but according to Don Coscarelli and Reggie, this song holds all of the answers to Phantasm. Can you decipher this riddle?
Have You Seen It? Have you seen it? Have you seen it? Have you seen it? How can we survive? Run for cover. Find some shelter. Try to stay alive.
Out here searching Such a long time A stranger with no name. Livin' lonely If I could only Find some way to end his wicked game... Wicked game!
Lord! I'm so tired of running Won'tcha help me find some rest. When in his twilight world I've met the challenge... And proved forever which of us is best. Have you seen it? Have you seen it? Have you seen it?

I love that song too! Especially how they use the Phantasm theme in there.

The Phantasm theme is the best horror theme hands down.

My analytical side is kickin' in. These are just my opinions from when I hear and see the lines and take a deeper thought into what's in the meaning.
Well, the only thing that comes to my mind is; What is the "it" referring to? Maybe the destruction that the Tall Man has caused? I'm thinking each of the following verses are based on each film. This one refers to Phantasm. They do not know what is going on and not sure what to believe.
Phantasm II. They are trying to stay safe while still searching for the Tall Man. (The rigged house, the weapons, etc…)
It's been what? 9-12 years(such a long time) trying to find the Tall Man (stranger with no name). I think this verse is based on Phantasm III. It seems to fit.
I think this one is based on Phantasm IV. "Livin' lonely" refers to Mike, because he really is all alone. He’s been alone throughout this whole film. There is no one who can really save him. Reg is just postponing what the Tall Man wants to do with Mike. Reg and Mike are trying to defeat the Tall Man, thus "ending his wicked game." That's the only way to end the game - to defeat the Tall Man. And they are still trying to find the way.
If you see the pattern, you can predict I will say this refers to the next Phantasm if there will ever be one. Reg fought the Tall Man in his dimension after he jumped through the fork at the end of Phantasm IV. “And proved forever which of us is best” is kind of hinting that he defeated the Tall Man, and that would mean Reg is the “which of us is best.”
I believe this is just flashing back to the first Phantasm.
I believe this whole song is all from the character Reg's point of view. He's talking about his whole past experience and what he went through.

Pretty interesting interpretation Natalie.
I'm still working on mine. Those commentary tracks sure are cool!

Bravo! Yes, I agree. It seems like Reg will triumph in the end based on the lyrics.

www.nightmarez.com/seenit.htmMirai, if by chance you're talking about the URL above, it's totally fine to post here as it's 100% legit. Reggie and Gigi Bannister set it up that way over ten years ago so that phans may listen to that terrific tune. Ten years online and still no face lift to those sites. Gah. Even Phantasm.com had to shake things up after eleven years.

Thanks, 4BH.
As for the music, everytime I would try to listen to it on their site, it would play it twice, simultaniously (sp?), with a second and a half delay between the plays.

Natalie I think gave the best answer, but I wouldn't really distiguish the films as it all just seems to combine evrey thing and say that *they* have been running anf hiding and fighting for an insanely long time and that it needs it end. Quite ironic that they putit with Phantasm IV that be the case...I like the song but if Phantasm's End was/is to be made and it was saved it may have sounded a little tweaked and more polished. Love the song though.
