I appreciate the look of Angeles Abbey, but I still love the way the Mauso's looked in P1&2. Which one do you prefer? Or do you like them both?

I prefer the set that Coscarelli & Co. made for P1 myself. Nothing against any of the other mausoleums, it's just the Morningside one has a certain quality to it that I haven't seen elsewhere.

I like the "organic" feel of Angeles Abbey. But like you, I relish the handmade sets. They look so very, very flawless. I have been in many a Funeral Home and if I were to walk into one of the sets, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Well, except for the lights and best boys running about.

Angeles Abbey. It just looks like an awesome place to visit but I'd be weary about that according to what was said in the commentary. Haha.
The ones that were built were really awesome too though!

When it comes to the debate of faux mauso versus actual mauso - it's a difficult choice and ultimately, a matter of taste. I feel that the faux mausos of P1 and P2 really served those films well. The Morningside Mausoleum will always be my favorite. But then again, Angeles Abbey in P3 and P4 brings a more harsh, realistic-looking mausoleum into the Phantasm world. It's much more grand than the first two.
I voted for both.
