Don't you have to be registered before you can post? Stomp out this kind of clutter!

If I hadn't relinquished my mod status, I'd take care of this poop immediately!
I'm not too keen on the whole "guests can post" myself.

Pesky guest. I stomped out this thread a week ago and it's back again. Sorry for the delay folks.

I also think that the forum should be viewable to guests but open to posting by forum members only. Hopefully, the next time that Gopher stops by these parts, he can weigh this as an option.

I didn't mean that to come off as stroppy as it sounded (bad day yesterday). I just thought that it was changed to that way already. It feels like an invasion of privacy almost, I really like the way things are run here and for someone to disturb the peace hacks me off a bit.

I felt that I wasn't active as I should be & felt that I wasn't contributing enough. The topic was some spambot coming in here & chirping about religion or something.

I'll fix it so guests can't post.
Sorry guys about not being around as much as usual... I do stop by here daily, but I can't devote as much time as normally right now.

Hmm, just checked my admin options and it seems that I'd also have to prevent guests from even seeing the forum... which I don't want to do.
Maybe I'm missing something. Dustin, you know a way to permit guests to view but not post?

I really like the way things are run here and for someone to disturb the peace hacks me off a bit. Thank you, Steve. The first part of this sentence brought a smile to my face. I've been enjoying the tranquility lately--reminds me of a sunlit cemetery. Ahhhhhhh.... Okay, so it's a little dead here, but you are all a really great group of people.

Tony,
What you'll have to do is go into each board category and modify it so that ONLY MEMBERS can create and respond to threads. You'll have to modify both categories, create and respond to. Do this not for each board, but each board category. As in Embalming Room, Mausoleum, Cemetery, etc. and not P1, P2, P3.
That way guests can still look, but not touch. Or rather, post.
