Ok I know Reggie only used the Chainsaw in part 2 but which of these two weapons would you be most inclinde to use?
Both are close range weapons btw so it's not like choosing the quad you could be far away and use it effectively. Where as the chainsaw you have to be right up on someone to use it.
I do feel like in P2 though the Chainsaw got the better fight sequences though.
So I leave it up to you

I don't want to have to choose. Both have their pros. The quad has the blasting power, but the chainsaw has the mayhem...I think i'll say the quad, because of when Reg shoots four dwarves from a tree at once.

Thats true the quad can take out multiple targets at once but also once you shoot off all the barrel's you gotta reload. The advantage to the chainsaw is it can last longer with a full tank of fuel. I dunno I'm like you though I just can't choose maybe I should have added the Drill as well ;D

Or the flamethrower.

Crap how did I forget that flamethrower.
I've often thought about if building those kind of weapons would really work. I'm too scared to try it myself because I don't want to get blown up.

The flamethrower was a wasted opportunity.

I'm a quad man, myself. The only downfall is reload time & reload frequency. But still, that sucker does some damage. Reggie has blasted many a dwarf with it.

i like the quad gun best but any weapon in the hands of Reggie is good for me.

Has to be the quad gun, just the look of it is cool and I've never seen anything like it any other movie.

I personally love the quad barrel shot gun. But one of the things that made me chuckle the most is when Reggie has the chain saw and says to the guy he's fighting "Come on you Mutha" (which is also 4barrelhemi's quote...VERY NICE) because he thinks he has the guy in a very bad way at that point...then the guy walks over and pulls out this whomping big chainsaw.

I can't make up my mind. I loved how Reg was cutting doors right out at the mausoleum and the b&b in Perigord, and the chainsaw fight with the Graver was a classic. Maybe Reg should upgrade to a Husqvarna. On the other hand, the quad gun is Reg's signature piece.

What about the the tuning fork as a weapon. I think that is the ultimate weapon of the series. Stopping the Tall Man in his tracks!

You beat me to it, theinferno! Yeah, Reggie and that fork... pretty unstoppable.
Although against dwarves and gravers, the quad shotgun is the weapon of choice.

If Mike could have constantly rang the tuning fork in P4 he might not have had his head ripped open.

I would prefer the Chainsaw. As much as I love the Quad, the only problem with it is that you'd have to constantly reload it. With the chainsaw, you can do more damage, and you don't have to fill it up as much as you have to reload the quad.

I have a fully working Flamethrower that is exactly the same from p2. I cant find where the pics are but here is the video of it. you really cant see the actual thrower but it works as you will see. not very well but we eventually figured it out how to get a bigger flame everyblast. BTW this is froma Halloween thing we used to do every year. this was taken back in 04' gomer.250free.com/FogTrailer/Flmaethrower.wmv

i don't know if i would let something get that close to me to use the chainsaw. I would have to go with the Quad or the flamethrower.......

I wonder what kind of kick the quad would have with it if you fired all 4 barrel's at once.

Gomer: Awesome video of the flamethrower.
4barrelhemi: One hell of a kick I'm assuming.
I had a chance to talk to Reggie at his booth while he was signing a picture for me. I happened to ask him what his favorite weapon was, and he said the quad barrel all the way. He likes the power of it, but also compared it to the likes of a guitar.(I'm assuming he meant it was just comfortable for him) Figured you guys would like to know what the Regman thought.

i was watching Part 4 earlier and something occurred to me regarding the quad gun. i wonder why or did they even think of taking 2 pump action shot guns and putting them together.
putting the handle in the same place basically but it would also be used to pump the shotguns. it wouldn't have looked as cool as the 4 barrel angle cut in the front looks real mean.
but Reggie would have been able to do some semi automatic fire = more firepower. what do those pump action hold each, 6 shells ? just a idea.
