And also challenging too..Let me realese you from this imperfect flesh and all will become known to you once more.... Thanks bro, It's one reason I prefer this over the unreal tech, even though I'll try something in that engine after this , the D3 lighting I find more satisfying as well as builder brushes that are much more quicker to build with. I know both have their strengths, however I still feel unreal tech still has a bit of a cartoony flavor a bit somewhat. as where Doom3 editing I can achieve more realistic visuals with greater simplicity and effectiveness. I'm looking forward to releasing this however I feel it will still take a little more time. animations and proper character rigging are going to be the real pain, fortunatly there are only 3 to make as the spheres are already done, well maybe one or two more, but those are easy. its the tallman, dwarfs and ladylavender that will need the most work. One thing I want to make sure of is this adventure won't be a 5 min walk in the park. more soon...... ;D

That stained glass window is gorgeous! If that were me in that setting, I'd probably be fixated on the spot in awe. A sphere would made short work of me! lollol Maybe that was the intent? lollol A triple bladed boss sphere is the most phearful sphere of them all I agree with Kristen here. I have this thing for stained glass, and I am absolutely loving the detail in these shots!

Here's the original texture I used for the wall, I have no idea why it looks greenish (I should look into that), but ah well, anyways here it is in its original form from my archives and actual game asset I used in the screenshot. I went back and reworked the texture to have full color, ( ah crap i didn't trim the red border) I'm too tired to really find out why its green.. anyways heres what it looks like with full color. I like the green better though, and will probably keep this there and use the color one elsewhere. In other news I've added 2 more levels and reworked many aspects, its getting better all the time. all I can say to everyone is that ..know that it's being made and on its way. its coming, thanks for your patients. even alchemy makes an appearence.. Then again......here's what it looks like with the red border trimmed out, looks better now, hmmm I dunno guess I'll just flip a coin and see which one stays , the green or the color one. decisions, decisions......

I like both the full color AND the green stained glass windows... Maybe if the green were more cyanish, you could use it as a stained glass window at night! Moonlight or street lights coming in... Cast a little of that weird light onto the floor. The time changes could be totally random in the game... I used to dream about walking around Morningside Mausoleum at night (on a Girl Scout camping trip, no less!), with just the blue moonlight lighting the walls and floors, and it was pretty freaky! Some of the Myst games (like URU) are really good about showing day to night changes in the settings, and it keeps the environment fresh and ever-changing. Doom 3 might not be able to do this, though, so ignore these ideas as you see fit! lollol Big thumbs up, BG!

I've decided to go green for the main and color for a window in the stairwell, it balances out nicely.

I love the footage of you getting minced by the gold sphere. The room itself looks amazing. I'm digging out my copy of Doom 3 and re-installing it in anticipation. Your Event Horizon mod sounds interesting as well. Think that may get a run!

Let's not forget reggie's garage, and yes the hood opens! I'm still debating of giving reggie a harley davidson or not...... funny thing is I still havent made his ice cream truck... ah well we'll see. when this level starts a horor theme music plays (I wont say which one) I have 4 different ones throughout the whole adventure. but in the back theres a switch to change soundtracks if anyone gets tired of the first one.

Thank you tony!, The thing is it's like one big giant 250mb email once I send it out I can't get it back so extensive testing is being done. currently there are 13 levels with a bonus cinematic only 14th level so far that have been mostly completed, I'm also going back into the characters to rework the ragdoll collisions and animations to work and look better if successful. looks great and is challanging too, those spheres are feirce, you've been warned some of the levels I'm still adding in details that make for a better overall visual experience and audio as well. stay tuned.....

This is my first attempt but I'm happy it works at all...... this should change the game a bit.. I've posted a video on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqsDVLKFGsoedit: I also want to mention I've gotten the desert eagle as a new pistol to use as well, its not shown but I have one in the game now instead of the hokey looking default doom 3 pistol, now it has some beef!

Looks amazing! Loving that quad-barrel! Presumably you are going to be replacing all of the Doom 3 weapons with Phantasm universe equivalents? That would be cool; finally we would get a chance to see Mike's flamethrower in action. I really can't find much fault with any of this. It's looking better and better by the day! I guess the only suggestion I could make would be with regard to the enemy animations/AI; the spheres, in particular, don't behave much like the spheres in the movies. Here they will sort of hover around you, causing damage, not really moving much. Whereas the spheres in the movies charge at you at high speed, maybe fly past causing some damage with their blades, then overshoot to swing around for another attack, perhaps even embedding in your head to drill you. It would be fantastic if the spheres behaved a little more like that, maybe even implementing some sort of "struggle" mechanism whereby you you have to mash keys to yank an embedded sphere from your head before it drills you. However, I do realise that such things, modifying AI and player-character animations, are exceedingly difficult and sometimes almost impossible when you're working with a pre-existing engine.

My favorite image so far: I like the twist you put on the theme music. It's like "Tubular Bells" meets "Phantasm: Main Theme". Is that something you did yourself, or is it done by a program? Speaking of music, are you putting in the "Sittin' Here at Midnight" scene from P1? Maybe the tuning fork from that scene could be used somehow. Really awesome job.

I've just started this part , more soon. If I can get a flamethrower working I'll include one. for the drilling that may be just cinematics put in. I was attempting to replace the soulcube with a jody sphere, but its not working , ah we'll see I do have lots of suprises and goodies in already, as for the tublar bells , thats one of the background themes I have playing in one of the levels. the game engine does however has some limitations and I'm working as best I can with what I know with it. as for sittin at midnight I have it in I just don't know where I'm going to put it yet. I do have a small clip of "have you seen it" in one level. I've also fixed the quad shotgun sound as it had sounded a bit shallow to me , thats now fixed and sounds like it has some balls now, more soon, Thanks! Also included is the paperback on mikes desk as well.... ;D
