I just wanted to say, I LUV MORNINGSIDE! I dont know what it is about it? Its just soooo alluring. Its almost to bad PHANTASM isnt a Disney movie. If it was Id go to Disney World just to be able to hang out at Morningside, kinda like The Haunted Mansion. ...OK Im realy glad its not a Disney flick, I know that sounds a bit weird, but you know what I mean.... What are some of your favorite PHANTASM settings or locations? If you could somehow visit on of the seens which one would it be?

I agree with you about Morningside. For some odd reason the place just resonates in me... it makes me feel nostalgic (which is odd considering I've never been to "Morningside", nor did I grow up in the 70's).

I'm with you guys it's just surreal I guess. I have actually thought about going to visit there sometime. That would be a nice trip.

It's too bad the original mausoleum hallway isn't preserved in the Phantasm Museum.
I would go out and buy a brand new pair of dress shoes just to hear the clicking sounds of the soles on the tile floor, while I explored for scurrying dwarves.
I was reminiscing the other day and the video "Queen of the Broken Hearts" by Loverboy, looks alot like the P4 desert scenes.
I like the look of the desert right before dusk, with that orange glow. So that would be my 2nd favorite locale.

Yeah Id really like to go see the Manson myself. The reason I made the Disney reference is it would be to cool to be able to see some of the characters wondering around. Like maybe a few Dwarfs, Gravers, maybe even Tally, 'Cuda, or just any of them?

Oh yeah! The Museum is WICKED! I could spend all day in there. It would be cool to click around in some dress shoes while listning to the hummmmmm of a space gate. But you better stick with a good pair of running shoes. Ya never know when a stray sphere might get after you!
THE FUNERAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN....SIRRR!

I agree about Morningside. There is a sense of realness, grittness and just enough an older look to be a creepy little cemetery. I also like the fact it was the late 70's.

What's really funny is that there is a porn movie made in 1979, called "Little Girls Blue" about a girl's boarding school and all the stuff the girl's obviously do with the male teachers at the school. What is funny is the house that was the girl's boarding school is the same exact house that was Morningside Mausoleum and Mortuary. It made me laugh when I realized it was the exact same house, Dunsmuir Estate.
