I just noticed that on Xfinity they are showing Phantasm 1,3,&4, so i hope many people see Phantasm for the 1st time! I want to see Captain America, Rise of Planet of the Apes, the new Sherlock Holmes, & High Noon, maybe try and see Sucker Punch, i still have not checked that out. Hoepfully Floyd, i will at least check out a couple of these on New Years eve, or there abouts.

I'd avoid Suckerpunch like the plague, it's really dreadful. I quite enjoyed Captain America, I wasn't expecting much but was fairly entertaining, plus some of it was filmed in my home city (Manchester) as they wanted a particular type of WW2 building to film next to and the only ones left are in Manchester.
Rise of Planet of the Apes was way better than I expected it to be. Franco and Lithgow are both great and are mostly the reason for the movie working in my opinion.
My choice for the New Year would probably have to be:
O Brother Where Art Thou Cowboys Vs Aliens (a local independent cinema is running this again) Labyrith/Dark Crystal (something fantasy based) Wuthering Heights (my wife's choice as she lurves Ralph Feinnes) Despicable Me
Mostly family orientated I think for me.
