Has any rented John Dies at the End from iTunes/Amazon yet? If not, definitely check it out (or just wait until 1/25 when it hits the theaters)! I thought it was an excellent take on the novel and a complete mind trip. Some of Don's best work.
I watched it with my wife over the holiday break. After the film, I was fist pumpingly thrilled thinking it was the best movie that I had ever seen and then I looked at my wife and she said, "You actually read that? That was *censored* up."
So unfortunately, it might not be to everyone's taste. ;D

I caught it on the big screen at the Chicago Film Festival a couple months back. I thought the movie was great. However, I did read the book first, so I ended up disappointed with how much was cut from it. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the movie.
Also, I do believe JDatE does hit blu-ray sometime in March or April.

Watched it on On Demand- as someone who was not blown away by BUbba Ho-tep, it was nice to see coscarelli directing material that is truly worthy of his off-beat sensibilities. It's fun, weird andmakes you think. Its ad little cheezy at times but the whole film is so bizarre that it doesnt matter.

I caught JDATE last night on Xfinity, i thought it was good. I have never read the book, so i can't compare it. Really great to see Angus in action, gave me chills to hear his voice and see him with the blackened eyes, reminiscent of Mike in P3!
