I agree she would be great in V, awesome video! I love how you made it as if she was dreaming the whole time, pretty unique

I wanted it to feel like she was dreaming about the fortune teller and was receiving visions of things to come ... like her untimely death Hopefully, it's more poignant and intriguing than the death she got in P3.

Here's her appearance on the new Phantasm II documentary. She is the #1 reason I want the Blu-Ray...haven't seen or heard anything about her in years. I know! I was really excited when her participation was announced for the special features. ;D

So, has there ever been any explanation for why the third film killed off her character and everyone forgot about her existence? I mean, did she not want to come back? Did Coscarelli not like her character at all? What's the story?

So, has there ever been any explanation for why the third film killed off her character and everyone forgot about her existence? I mean, did she not want to come back? Did Coscarelli not like her character at all? What's the story? I haven't heard anything official of why he killed her off but apparently the inclusion of her character in Phantasm II was a request by Universal as they wanted a female lead. Also, Michael Baldwin hates Phantasm II so maybe Don thought it was best to start "phresh". Additionally, it appears that Paula may have been working on Santa Barbara while they were filming Phantasm III so maybe she was unavailable. She comes off very positive about the Phantasm experience from the documentary and Don says that she was very easy to work with and said she had a very appealing girl-next-store quality and that is why he cast her. I would have liked if they kept the character as I felt she was a nice fit for the Phantasm world. It was also intriguing that there were others like Mike.

I also would've liked if they kept her around, maybe in sphere form. We never found out why she was special or what the Tall Man wanted from her head. I wanted to pose that question to Coscarelli at the New Beverly Phantasm 2 screening a couple of years back, but I accidentally missed it.

I wanted to pose that question to Coscarelli at the New Beverly Phantasm 2 screening a couple of years back, but I accidentally missed it. I always thought that's why he took her head too but then there was no mention of her in IV. The video I posted above makes that implication about her becoming a sphere. I edited it so she sees the Tall Man take her head, then she sees him with a sphere with a brain in it, and then she sees the granddaughter lean into the psychic for a message before she wakes up. I like to think the message was Liz and Mike are both screwed. lol

Love to see people from the past as in "then and now", good to see people still hanging around and doing their thing.

It was great seeing her in the doc. Wish she would have never left the profession. Had to Google her and discovered she'd retired from acting in 1994.

Talking with a friend, we came to a fan-based conclusion that The Tall Man's interest in taking Liz's head was to turn her into the eyeball sphere that watches and spies on everyone during the course of the film. Purely wishfully thinking but it could make sense, couldn't it?
She knew The Tall Man knew she could sense what he was up to so maybe he decided to put that to good use after her role in his game delivered Mike into his hands at the end of the P2 round.
If only there was a throwaway line from Mike about her whereabouts resulting in a mere frown from Reg, adding to Mike's already deepening despair.

It would be great to see her back for P5, but hard to explain her being there with the outcome of her character in P2. It would be great to see what happened to Rocky and Tim from P3 also!

This needs to somehow be included in Ravager.
