This won't directly matter to any here, as I am sure all have Phantasm II already on DVD or Blu-Ray, but just as a quick note, I spotted Phantasm II today on the shelf at Best Buy as part of a Universal Studios four pack of movies. It comes with something called Funhouse directed by Tobe Hooper, SSSSSSS, and The Serpent and the Rainbow. I went ahead and bought the pack, since I wanted to see Serpent and never have. For a mere $3.99 for the pack, it was worth it even just for the one movie. I've not yet opened the case, but it feels pretty heavy, so I suspect it has each movie on its own disc, rather than on one of those discs that crams two or three films on a single disc.
Stocking stuffer for your non-Phantasm initiated friends and family, perhaps?

Ahh...I thought that perhaps that that set had been mentioned before, but didn't recall for sure. In any case, I was surprised to see it rather prominently displayed at two different Best Buy stores, and for only $4.
When I did open the set up later last night, though, I found that it contains only two DVDs: one contains Phantasm II and Funhouse in a bit of alliteration, and the other disc contains SSSSSSS and Serpent and the Rainbow. So much for my theory of it containing the full four, separate DVDs.

Yeah I remember seeing this dvd set pop up at walmarts first. I think even Targets started to carry it. right around that time too, best Buy started to sell it too. Walmarts tend to get a lot of these multi movie packs with at least 1 or 2 good movies in them.
