It is with great sadness to hear one of our PC members passed away the day before Thanksgiving, "Gremlin76" real name is Gary and we became FB friends about a year ago after chatting a few times on this board. I'm shocked and saddened to hear this. He was really a huge Phantasm fan and wanted to see P5 happen...This was the message received on his FB page this morning:
"to all garys friends and family I am sorry to inform you that he was found passed in his home the day before thanksgiving if any questions please message me on here or my facebook page tara maudlin"

I was just about to create a thread in Gary's honor but see this kind message thread already here. Thank you. I too am quite saddened by Gary Gillespie's passing. He was a sweet friend this past year, and his emails always brought a smile to my face. He loved his (many) cats, his car (a Gremlin, of course), and Phantasm. He had tons of private questions about Phantasm. What I remember most were all his funny animal stories (for example, a rooster named the Colonel) and the way he'd surprise me with photos of his cats. I will miss him a lot. It is people like Gary--all of you--that make this forum, and this group of films, so special. Say a prayer for Gary this holiday season, and God bless you all. Attachments:

Gary and I exchanged many emails over the last year and a half or so...good guy all around. May he be in a better place now.

I'm sorry to read of this. Gary had been with us for almost two years. He was a very enthusiastic phan of the series and dedicated member of our community. I remember his posts saying how very much forward he was looking to a new Phantasm.
Feel badly for his friends and family to lose him, especially during the holiday season.

You can see how happy he was whenever he was around Angus.

i just read this on my FB page and was floored...i did not realize Gary was Gremlin, we never had a true conversation. we sometimes liked each others post or comments on different FB pages, but he was such a familiar face and nice guy, some really funny posts. my condolences to his family and friends...

In Memory of Gary. Here are some pics that he shared when he went to the Full Moon Con in Chattanooga in 2012. The dates on the pics are wrong. I'm sure he would be honored to see these posted on this board. He was old school. No matter how many times I tried to explain to him how to copy/paste links or post pics, he just didn't know how...lol... Cool pics!
