It's a Solingen blade. I carried it around for three months in 1997 (talk about cool!).

Found one on ebay. Not exactly, but pretty close to the Tall Man's dagger. I think the cross guard on the Tall Man's dagger angles more toward the blade.

Yes, that definitely looks like the one! Sharp eyes! There is another on eBay almost identical but with brass guard and about double the price. I have a Solingen that I bought in Austria which is similar, but with a solid black handle instead of black wrap. Really solid, beautiful knives with rust free blades. Also, they (alas) have a long history with Nazism. One final note was that the Tall Man's dagger (the only one we had) got dropped several times onto a hard marble floor during the filming of P4. All part of the scene as Mike scrambles to extract it from his pocket. On one of the takes the tip of the dagger broke off. So sad! Very minor damage but still...

With my untrained eye, I would've thought it was the same model from the movie. At first glance, it definitely appears to be.

Wow, my bad! Went back and watched the scene where Mike cuts down the Tall Man from the tree in Oblivion. Indeed this is the one! Looks like it got scooped up on ebay too!!

I was so close to snagging that, but the price....don't have it. But I did find another on Ebay. Don't know if it's the lighting, but this looks gold instead of the silver.

It's a pretty awesome looking little stabber, eh?
Would look extra nice on display with autographs from Angus and Kat, am I right?

How cool! Having said that, I couldn't ship one over as Customs would pitch a fit and destroy it..!

Hey guys, I thought it'd be cool to share this with you. With the help of Kristen's comments above, and after many searches over the past couple years on Ebay, I came across a seller with this beauty. I was a bit scared that I wouldn't get it because the seller had it in a 7-day auction, and not "buy it now". But I jumped on it without a fight, as the auction ended with me being the only bidder. I saw one for sale in early November, and due to it's condition with a horribly sharpened blade, I had to resist it. Glad I did, because this one is in almost excellent condition. Though upon a very close inspection, it looks like just a tad bit of the tip broke off, but it's virtually unnoticeable. Random thought: It's not as heavy as I thought it would be. But with Kristen, and for the most part both Michael and Kat, confirming on Facebook that this is the exact, screen accurate dagger, I sure am one lucky and happy phan to have this in my collection.
