The book mentions that RAVAGER is an homage to Kathy Lester's song "Lady in Lavender' that has that chorus that says " I may be a ravager...." Which might mean that there's nothing in the movie called a Ravager.

I don't think there is a "ravager" per say, I believe it more reflects the fact that the Tall Man has ravaged our world for the dead to send to his planet as dwarf slaves. If this is meant to be the last film it would make sense to go out on a dark, abismal, and armageddonish tone to show what destruction the Tall Man has wrought upon our world.

I don't like the title very much. I always liked "THE WRAITH OF THE TALL MAN" FROM THE anti-piracy warnings at the end of the credits.
