I was just thinking how happy I am that they kept this a secret all these years. As much as I enjoy reading entertainment news websites, I've found that many times I've read so many reviews, comments, and analyses of the film that sometimes I feel like I don't really need to see it. I really appreciate the effort the put into having this be a big surprise. Hopefully the release date is just around the corner.

I have a feeling that the lucky souls that get to attend the horror convention in Chicago will be the first ones to see Ravager. Why not? When has Phantasm ever had this much identity to push? We have a new film, a book coming out and what is safe to say will be the last time we'll ever have the original cast in its entirety in attendance. It's like Christmas in August. Robert Englund should just stay home that weekend. That convention's gonna be ALL about PHANTASM!

I really hope they have the film to show at Flashback. That would be the best part of the con. I'll be attending with a few friends. Back on topic though, in a way, I'm glad they kept it a secret for the simple fact if they announced it back when it started shooting, I would have gone crazy by now waiting for it to be released. At least now we just get the news and it will be coming out shortly, so less of a wait

And I get the feeling that something that took this much time to do is going to be QUALITY. But I'd expect nothing less from this 'franchise' anyway.
