1) the fortune teller
---> in phantasm IV Oblivion, Mike goes throught the fork and ends up at Morningside.
There he meets Jebediah Morningside in his human form ( "the lemonade-scene )
and we also learn thΓ©re that the fortune teller is, in fact, Jebediah's wife.
2) the sphere in Mike's head / Tall Man and Mike / yellow blood
In phantasm III we learn that the Tall Man has/is the golden sphere, when he breaks out
of the freezer. We also see that in III that Mike has a sphere in his head , probably
put there by the Tall Man. In IV it is made clear that the Tall Man wants to transform
Mike as one of his own kind. (whatever kind that might be). So in a way, with Mike having
the sphere in his head, Mike already is like the Tall Man. A body ,controlled by a sphere.
Since the Tall Man has always had yellow blood, it is logical that Mike also has the yellow
since they are made alike. (or always where alike...I dont know)
I believe this is also the way they will let Mike revive in Ravager V.
Since the Tall Man has taken Mike's sphere in the end of IV, Mike simply
can take a new body the same way the Tall Man always could.
Killing Mike's body won't kill Mike, since his mind/soul/whatever is in the sphere, like Tall Man.
(and perhaps that is one of Coscarelli's "hidden messages" as well,
the fysical end is not ' the End ' , reincarnation is possible, etc etc )
3)certain questions are not really answerable , I think
for example: why the lady in lavender?
Well, at first the movie Phantasm was made as a standalone movie.
It wasnt clear that any sequel would be made after.
The Lady in Lavender is just an alter (female) ego of the Tall Man,
indeed to lure men in his trap so they can be killed easier.
Ofcourse, now we go see Ravager V and the Lady returning in there
is a nice thing for the all time phans. I myself don't think
the Lady has any special purpose now, other than what she might have
had in Phantasm I.
Another question like, " who is the demon cop in IV " is just unclear.
Just a trickery of the Tall Man indeed. No special purpose.
