One of my favourite scenes in OblIVion. The Regman dons the ice cream man attire once more to go kick some butt. Adds to the whole nostalgic feel of OblIVion. Then he gets in his trunk & pulls out Quaddy. The chainsaw from Phantasm II makes a cameo appearance but isn't used, perhaps because one of the enemies would end up having an even bigger chainsaw.
It reminds me a lot of John Matrix's infamous suit up in Commando before he storms Arius' mansion compound.

Yeah, that was one of my favourite scenes. He takes you all the way back to the first Phantasm.

That is my favorite scene from Phantasm 4; The Ice Cream Man Cometh. Reg has all the classic weapons, Colt 45, switchblade, the 4 barrell and the tuning fork. I could never for the life of me figure out how to tie a bowtie.

That is my favorite scene from Phantasm 4; The Ice Cream Man Cometh. Reg has all the classic weapons, Colt 45, switchblade, the 4 barrell and the tuning fork. I could never for the life of me figure out how to tie a bowtie. Reggie's bow tie was more of what I called the prarie or cowboy style. I learned how to tie real tie your own bow tie because of my talent act because at the time I did not have own one of those with the band clips which took less time to get ready. I now have one with the band clip, but I find the real tie your own bow tie very original. I think it makes the tie even more fuller and more prestigous. To this day even though I have the one with the clip I hardly wear it unless I am really super short on time. I found scene very memorable its like it he was suiting for battle just without the armor. PhantasmPhan

Yeah I can't tie a bow tye or any kind for that matter either.
I did love that scene though its like this may be the final battle and Reg suits up accordingly for it.

Random fact: I am an expert with ties.
Yeah this scene was awesome. It always gives me a chill and a smirk seeing Reg suit up.

Best scene of Phantasm 4, the Ice Cream Man Cometh. Not many men can pull off a bow tie but Reggie can.

Yeah when he suits up for battle it is SO GOOD. It's too bad though there wasn't really much of a battle. Don't get me wrong I love Oblivion, but Reggie kinda got tossed aside too easily during the confrontation with Mike and The Tall Man. My $0.02

After much debate, I think this IS my favourite scene in OblIVion. Reg suits up & is ready to rock. I wish he would've kicked more butt after the suit up but at least he took a bunch of dwarves down...in comical fashion.

For me this scene is about the Phantasm series coming full circle. As Dusk has said on the podcast, Oblivion is the closest thing to a complete ending we will ever get. I love this film for it's surreal base. It pulls you in, confuses you and spits you out expecting you to comprehend everything that just happened. This chapter will forever be open for debate which is IMHO the beauty of it.
