Hey all, This was just uploaded by The Ravager Facebook page. A link to an exclusive 6 minute video of behind-the-scenes making of Phantasm Ravager. It is a wonderful video, and really puts this whole 38 year project and family atmosphere of Don, Angus and the gang into perspective. You can tell they really tried hard on this film, with a limited budget, but they did it for the fans, and I'm sure fans will enjoy Ravager (because of its heart). Take a look (Silver Sphere's Youtube Channel Official Link - uploaded on 9/28) www.youtube.com/watch?v=remMFpHfmzgOriginal Link (Has an Article in addition to the video) io9.gizmodo.com/the-gang-reunites-for-more-surreal-terror-in-this-sneak-1787089973

It all looks and sounds promising. ^_^
And such a nice Angus Scrimm piece there.

Is this full of spoilers or is it safe to watch before I see Ravager?

Is this full of spoilers or is it safe to watch before I see Ravager? No major spoilers, more of the process behind filming the scenes and applying makeup and effects and bringing back the cuda along with footage of Angus getting into character and visiting iconic sites from the 1979 film, etc. The scenes that are shown are already in the trailers. There is a minor spoiler with the Lady in Lavender**

That was great. Definitely has me more excited for it now. I can see that at least they were trying.

That's a nice piece, and it does fire me up a bit more than I have been lately about the film. I think I've fallen into partial indifference to it lately too, after waiting so long, hearing promises of "exciting announcements soon" that resulted in nothing, and so on. That does get me more interested again and it does convey a sense of care and passion from the filmmakers, I feel. The stuff about Angus Scrimm revisiting the old locations one last time is bittersweet, almost as if he was thinking he wanted to revisit old friends one last time before passing on...it was both sad and endearing. The CGI stuff looks pretty rough, and I hope in its final form it'll be improved, but frankly every one of the Phantasms so far has some things in it that make me cringe, but I forgive them for those things in light of the overall charm and uniqueness of this series. And speaking of charm, it just again strikes me from this piece of the class, if you can call it that, of the Tall Man. No other horror film villain is in a neat suit with a meticulously tied tie with tie tack...Jason, Michael, Freddy, Pinhead, Leatherface...all poor dressers. The Tall Man wants us all to die and come to him, but he does so looking professional and neat!
