Not having everyone reprise their roles, such as Michael Baldwin

I agree with all the previous posts about CGI. It really sux when it comes to monsters (like a lot of Sci Fi Channel movies), but it could help out tremendously with elaborate sets. Also it can be used seamlessly, I think the X-Files movie is a good example of this. Yeah, i really miss the old-school Tom Savini-type make-up effects. CGI has it's place (hello, Jurassic Park rocked)...but I'd really prefer for Phantasm 5 to get back to the live f/x and the "authentic feel" of the original film. I feel that after P2, Phantasm 3 did a good job of getting back to that kind of feeling...and then P4 went bigger again like P2. Although I do have fantasies about an apocalyptic sphere war (which could only be done through CGI)...so who knows. But as far as I'm concerned...No Angus would be pointless, No Reggie would be pointless...so without those two they shouldn't even bother. Can you imagine it? A Phantasm film without Angus? Without the tall man? Or even worse...recasting the tall man with another actor? That would be the worst thing they could do in P5.

P5 needs to happen...I hope that everyone that participates on these forums has sent their letter to Anchor Bay...
