Just wondering who might have seen David Lynch's film Inland Empire. Dustin and I have had some interesting conversations about the movie, especially when he was cursing me for making him watch it at first! Luckily his mind changed.

Expect crickets to be chirping here soon, Inferno. I think the only people who watch David Lynch are you, me and Mr. Lynch himself. Maybe his mother, too... but I can't say for sure.

Chirp......Chirp...................................Chirp, Chirp.................
I'm tempted to get this. I really enjoyed Mulholland Drive.
I can only watch his films when:
1) I'm absolutely free of distractions 2) posess the ability to block the idea of having to go to work out of my head 3) have no commitments....................... and 4) have at least 2 days off in a row.
I rarely get to watch his movies.....

Really like Lost Highway, one of my fave films. A couple of friends of mine are really into his artwork. he had a huge exhibition of his work in Paris over the summer, surprisingly really surreal stuff.

I really want to watch more of Lynch's stuff. My first experience was with Mulholland Drive, but i never could finish it. I agree with you vitaman, without time to think and comprehend its hard to sit down and watch his stuff. If you liked Mulholland you'd probably dig Inland Empire. The story lines seem to parallel in areas I think.

I like David Lynch, but I haven't kept up with his movies. Only seen a few. Dennis Hopper is bat-s**t crazy in Blue Velvet.

The Elephant Man I think has to be one of the best films of his I think I've seen, although that may have something to do with the actors as well.

My local chickie barmaid has been promising me her "Twin Peaks" for the longest time. She finally gave it to me the other night.

I actually did get the first season (sans 4th disc ). I really didn't mean it to sound like that.

Yeah David Lynch has made some great movies, albeit he does not get a huge amount of recognition...ala Don....and Dune is a classic.
