Saw this movie today. It was decent... not the best thing I've ever seen, but it was an ok movie. Probably in the C+ range in my opinion. I think it had an interesting concept... reshowing the same events over and over, each time from a different "vantage point". I just think it could have been pulled off a little more effectively. I applaud the filmmakers for the attempt though. Anyone else seen this? Oh, and for a little bonus for us phans, a Mr. James LeGros makes an appearance in this film.

I wanted to see this.
Back in the fall, 'theinferno' and I attended a screening of Friday the 13th: Part 3 in 3-D and arrived at the mountain-town theater an hour early. We wound up watching this trailer on repeat about a gazillion times and it looked decent.
A slick premise and a cast to match... I'm interested.

I saw this today.
I was on the phone with my friend multi tasking as well as putting in a fresh pair of contact lenses, "Hey, let's go see Vantage Point."
I thought it was pretty cool, but I had the damnedest time trying to focus.
I was thinking to myself, "Wow, this digital theatre aint' as good as the last time, this effin place went down hill!"
I had my lenses in reversed.
Dennis Quaid was great. I think this is a movie you can appreciate with additional viewings. With such a complex plot, there was just no other way it could be presented with out going back to the beginning. Something our younger ADD crowd I'm sure thought "sucked big time".
I thought the editing was good. Sort of like JFK as far as it's complexity is concerned.
