I went to Best Buy a few days ago and the horror section here isn't much of anything to talk about. Anyways I found some I guess you can call them box sets of 50 movies on 12 discs for $20
I picked up Horror Classics and Chilling Classics which seemed to fit my mood. They so far have alot of 30's and 40's Horror films which I love and a few from the 50's-early70's it seems.
Most all are probably low grade movies but still there are a few classics on here.
I don't know if anyone else has seen these but there are also Sci Fi sets and other types which if you are into watching some cheesy older movies would be a nice pickup.

Its horror section is terrible. Back in the day, it used to be pretty decent. Now...ugh. I don't want Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror.

I have never been that thrilled with the Worst Buy here in my town. I have been in there a 1000 times ready to buy, but always walk out & buy someplace with better prices.. They have the highest prices in town! Plus ya have to beg them to help you. Screw that...

But you know what's weird? Every Best Buy that I've ever visited seems to have stocked that title like it's up there with bread and milk in terms of necessities. It's ridiculous!
But I'll give BB this prop.... you can search their store inventory from the website. I like that mucho.

They used to carry a bunch of Troma stuff in addition to a lot of obscure horror. Not it's just that dumb Snoop Dogg movie & about 4384328403 copies of Rob Zombie's Crappoween.

I really would have prefered to go somewhere else but aside from Best Buy all we have is a FYE which has high prices.

I actually tend to like Best Buy.
Their sales are where they really shine... I went in a couple of weeks back and they had tons of quality DVDs on sale for like $3.99. Also I really dig their 2-pack deals where you get two films for a really good price.

I did, however, get Creepshow II, Children of the Corn, & Quicksilver Highway there for $13. Originally, the little bundle was $20 but it was on sale.

Don't knock FYE. Their prices are awful but they accidentally released Anchor Bay's 2007 Phantasm DVD releases about four days early. On second thought.... go ahead, knock them. They suck.

I'm waiting on Best Buy to have a sale so I can get the MST3K sets for cheaper than $50 a piece.

Thanks I might have to look into that! $50+ is just too much for me to justify spending on 4 episodes even if the show was great.
