If it ever gets made, what's the #1 thing you want answered/clarified/explained?
For me, I want to know more about the Red Planet. It's obviously integral to whoever or whatever the Tall Man is, and I want to know once and for all what that place is all about. Is it an actual planet? Is it just another dimension? And furthermore, why is the Tall Man harvesting the graves across America, turning the bodies into dwarves, and shipping them back to the Red Planet as slaves? I know it's been touched on here and there, but not nearly enough.
There's so much to be found out. We need answers!

First of all I want to know why the Lady in Lavender never changed her clothes Why didn't the fortune teller have Mike cut her grass and trim her trees as payment for the psychic readings What did those dwarves want with Mike's tennis shoe...and where did he get an extra one

Things I want answered:
1. How did Jeb Morningside find the red planet? 2. What REALLY happened to Jody? 3. Since Mike is a "Tall Being" can he destroy the Tall Man? 4. What is the Bag Plague? 5. Can Mike use his dreams to change things? 6. Is it really just a dream?
Just some quick ones off the top of my head.

One of the things I want answered is, and this is like one question broken down into little ones, sort of like an outline type format:
1. What started it all? a. What caused Jebediah to snap? b. What was he trying to accomplish? c. Why Mike?

I'd like to see what happened to Jebediah after he went through the gate for the first time. The transformation from Jebediah to Tally.

Okay I have more time to be serious about this...(just being silly with my initial post ) First of all I really would like to know WHY Michael.... And of course where is the real Jebediah Morningside and for that matter the real Jody. How did Michael find himself in the midst of the Civil War. Who is this fortune teller...was she not really related to Jeb and made passage herself thru the gate and come to be with Jeb...maybe the passage injured her and that's how she came to be in the wheel chair...Jeb cared for her...feeling responsible for her injuries and has been trying all this time to get the gate working again so she could return to where ever she came from. And then came Michael. Is this all a dream...in Michael's head...alter-ego persona's of induced childhood trauma of losing his parents and brother. ( re: Sybil---3 faces of Eve syndrome) The Red Planet -- is it really a planet or hell it's self? Does the Tall man represent death so to speak for all of us...impending doom in fact chasing us throughout life until our minds and bodies just give in. Why the world domination...who is the Tall man preparing to go to war with really? Heaven? The war of all war's against Heaven and Hell?

"How did Michael find himself in the midst of the Civil War"
It was one of Mike's dreams. His dreams have always had a prophetic nature to them. He was looking for the Tall Man's history and found some in one of his dreams. Showing the tall man in the Civil War is showing that Jebodiah was around at that time and was once a real person, which is something that Mike would find out later in the film.

Why Mike - Definitely. What has he done or what does he possess that makes him so important.
Mike's psychic powers - The ones we saw in part 2. Where did these come from and who were the "others" apart from Mike and Liz that possessed them. What is the significance of all these psychic teenagers? Perhaps they're seeded by the Tall Man as potential successors and then hunted down, so that the last survivor passes the test and becomes a Tall Man themselves? (this would imply that by the end of Phantasm 3 all of the "others" had been eliminated).
Red Planet - Where is it? What is it? What's so precious there that needs all these dwarves to maintain/mine/protect/feed(?) it?
What really happened to Jody? - Finally.
Was it all a dream? - Lots of hints throughout the series that this is all the wild imagining of a twelve year old boy. Perhaps we don't need it spelled out to us, but some more hints or food for thought would be fun. (Remember the giant poster of the moon's surface next to Mike's bed in P1? Look familiar?)

1. What does The Tall Man want with Mike? 2. A secret origin behind Mike. 3. What are the origin of the spheres?

I want Christopher Lee to team up with Angus Scrimm as a tallman too. This may be a great team of those two.

I would like the opposite of answers. More questions! Make everything you thought you understood and turn it into nothing. There is much fear and horror when you don't know what you are dealing with. I guess at this point, some sort of resolve is necessary and inevitable but I suspect there will still be some level of unknown still retained.
If the Tallman dies, there will be something else to replace him. Evil or opposing forces or whatever you want to call it will always exist. There's never harmony. I'd like to see VI start fresh. New main characters, new town, new twist and mystique, and fresh perspective and maybe some small tie-ins-- same music though!!! Back to the basics.

I don't really care about the whole mythology behind the Red/Crimson Planet. I'm more interested into the whole Soldier Mike/Present Time Mike enigma and, above all, all that sh*t surrounding the RETCONS.

My questions: Is there only one Mike, Jody, and Reggie, or not multiple ones, living in multiple universes Is the Red Planet in fact not Earth way in the future Is the Tall Man really evil or is he percieved as evil because of what he is doing? Maybe his intentions with the dwarfs are actually good, and re-animating the dead is his way of not enslaving the living Too many questions for a single movie but... who knows.

I think if we knew too much about the tall man, we would not love the movies as much anymore...its the mystery of the tall man that keeps us hooked.

I have an idea. The writers could write up some scenes with Angus as the tall man while hes still around to act.. They could film special scenes for future sequels fit them in future scripts and put them in film vaults for future reference. That way we would have a future beyond Phantasm 5. What do you think? Reggie if you see this post would it work? Ron
