i was watching a Transformers music video someone had made last night to 'What i've done' by Linkin Park and it got me thinking could someone actually make a phan video to it?
"What I've Done"
In this farewell There’s no blood There’s no alibi ‘Cause I’ve drawn regret From the truth Of a thousand lies
[Pre-Chorus:] So let mercy come And wash away What I’ve done
[Chorus:] I'll face myself To cross out what i’ve become Erase myself And let go of what i’ve done
Put to rest What you thought of me While I clean this slate With the hands of uncertainty
[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus]
For what I’ve done I start again And whatever pain may come Today this ends I’m forgiving what I’ve done!!!
[Chorus]
What I’ve done Forgiving what I’ve done
so, could it be done?

the problem with drawing together the universes of different creators - though it's a great mirror of what goes on in our brains as we take it all in is...sometimes the creators themselves would rather keep them separate. But that shouldn't limit the creativity of phans/fans (for this applies to devotees of all fictional universes...) That's where you come in and interpret the universe in your own way, with your own images, words, and screenwork. In that way we let our favourite creators know they've inspired us - and every artist, no matter what their media, is flattered beyond all by those who they inspire to create themselves. It's like links in a chain of ideas and inspiration.

I hate to sound like a di*k with nothing constructive to add to the topic, but I f**k**g HATE Linkin Park. They're just... horrible.

I'm not really fond of Linkin Park either. I wouldn't like to see a a Phan video with LP in the background.

Yeah, it's like when in horror movies they add in this heavy screamo Rage Against The Machine type music and it totally ruins it. Big time.
I'm looking at you Dawn of the Dead remake.

I'm not terribly sure why I did this. I actually don't like Linkin Park all that much. They strike me as a boy band who likes to scream. Sit down and shut up, that's what I say. Then again, I was bored, I guess. I threw in some Phantasm trailers to my editing suite and Phantasmicfied the tune because it was easier to stomach that way. Here's what I ended up with. Oh and you must excuse the piss-poor piano rendition of the Phantasm theme near the beginning. I did it on a keyboard. Like an actual home-row keys with alphabet letters keyboard - not the easiest way to play music. The 'Hope' and 'Fear' title cards are a tip of the hat to Matt Landram's old 'Red Planet' website. Bless the guy. I didn't finish the video so the reference never really came out fully. www.phantasmarchives.net/musicvideo.mov
