Besides the demise of Liz in Lord of the Dead, dwarves for the most part have been either fodder for Reggie's quad, or unsuccessful pursuers.
A lot of phans were really upset by Liz's untimely exit. My argument would be that the visual of Liz's cannibalistic end was, although upsetting, quite effective.
I think what is needed in a possible fifth installment would be a vicious attack on some unsuspecting earthling, just to let everyone know the evil potential they have.
What's your opinion? Do you agree? Or do like the current "comic relief" they are currently serving?
(It's funny my spell check insists on replacing dwarves with "dwarfs". I just think it sounds better. Especially the way Jody said it in P1, when witnessing the dwarf canisters in the white room. ;D)

What about a rebellious, GOOD Dwarf who teams-up with Reggie (and Mike) against the Tall Man? I always loved evil-characters-gone-good and that could add further depth to the Dwarves. After all, they got brains... oh, well, at least some PARTS.

In P3 we see that The Tall Man is replacing his smaller counterparts with spheres. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that the number of dwarfs in P5 (if it ever happens) would be minimal. Since AMB said that it is more of a "thinking man's Phantasm" I think DAC will concentrate more on the philosophical aspects of Phantasm instead of the gore.

Friendly dwarfs would be pretty funny, and unique.
I wouldn't want it to be a gore fest, just have them taken a little more seriously.
Yes, a disposable character with traits that the audience would really hate. LIke a self absorbed American Idol wannabe, over opinionated, ego driven a-hole....and have the dwarfs just throttle em'! A decapitation if you will. ;D
Then turn it into a "thinking man's (or women's)" Phantasm.

I personally don't like the idea of the 'bad dwarf gone good" thing. It's just something that wouldn't flow right through Phantasm. It would change the meaning of it. Just like how Alien vs. Predator screwed the meaning of the Predator movies by making them the 'good guys'.

I'm not interested in seeing the plot placement of the dwarves in the series changed. The dwarves are the Tall Man's slaves with simply one direction...they do what the Tall man wants them to do. They are pretty much fried out I can't see them having any emotional attachment about anything going on around them. They serve their purpose and are disposable. Reggie makes killing them off humorous enough for me.

Reggie makes killing them off humorous enough for me. That's true, that would prevent us from seeing our favourite, magnificent Reggie's exploits in terms of killing.
