Would you beleive me if I said it was true? The answer is yes! Full story here: shocktillyoudrop.com/news/topnews.php?id=7140"Out of the many summer screenings Cinespia has held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery over the years, this one is simply...perfect. On Sunday evening, August 10th, the organization is presenting Don Coscarelli's Phantasm. As they do every weekend, the film will be projected along the side of a giant mausoleum situated towards the back of the cemetery (located at 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard at Gower). The gates open at 7:30pm, the movie follows at 9pm. A $10 donation is encouraged. Tall Man lovers - arrive early, bring some food and drink and, for your own sake, watch out for any ladies wearing lavender." If anyone is going to drive there, make sure it's a hearse or a Hemicuda!

Hollywood Forever is one of the best cemeteries, period.
They are on the cutting edge of technology in the death care industry, really changing the face of the business.
Another thing I love about them is that they reach out to the community with things like this. They also host a festival, the name of which escapes me at the moment. Really a "cozy" place.

I doubt there is a limit. And I believe that during the festival, booze is usually consumed. I could be wrong.

The only way I can describe the festival I am talking about, is that it's a Latin festival for the dead. There is also a thing for an actor by the last name Valentino. I saw this in a doc on A&E years back.

I'm going (fingers crossed). The cemetery is really gorgeous. The Hollywood sign is visible from the entrance gates. Valentino, Peter Lorre, Cecil B. DeMille and other notable Hollywood icons are buried at Hollywood Forever. I've done some funeral services there, but I never dreamed I'd been seeing "Phantasm" there! Life is full of adventures! lollol
