Most computer DVD players accept both regions. Depends on the unit. You might have to "change" it to R2. I did. You are usually allowed 5 "changes" then it's final. So if you don't watch movies on your PC, it's okay. But if you do, then you might be in a dicey situation.

Well, then I will be searching for a DVD player. I not sure about "changing" my 'puter DVD. How would I do that, though? Just in case.

It will prompt you to do it. It would say something along the lines of: "This disc is Region 2. Your drive is currently set to Region 1. Would you like to change the Region? If so, you will have 5 changes remaining"

Oh okay, does it use up a "change" everytime I pop in a R2 dvd? Or if I go from R1 to R2 and then put in a R1 again? I never done this before.

Nope, it only uses a change when you go back to R1. So if you don't use your PC to watch R1 you are set.
