If Coscarelli ever checks out these threads, I'd like to suggest the title: PHANTASM V: NEVER DEAD It integrates the 5/V into the subtitle just like PHANTASM IV: OBLIVION and as any PHANTASM phan worth their weight in severed finger-bugs knows, it's a cool nod to the retitling of P1 over in Australia. What are my phellow phans thoughts on this idea? I've copied a gif and jpeg with a logo concept for P5ND below: And be sure to join the campaign for PHANTASM 3-D: 30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION by adding me as a friend at MySpace: www.myspace.com/phantasm2009More info to come soon! Looks cool! I reccommend you put the V between the 2 A's in Phantasm. But still, awesome!

I like it, nicely brings back the horror aspect. Though, I wonder what it would be called in Australia

I like it, nicely brings back the horror aspect. Though, I wonder what it would be called in Australia NEVER DEAD V: PHANTASMAGORIA perhaps? That's actually a good question. I think part 2 was renamed NEVER DEAD 2, but I'm not certain. Does anyone know for sure? Were all the sequels renamed when released over there, or did some of them go out under the original titles?

Were all the sequels renamed when released over there, or did some of them go out under the original titles? Can't say for sure on that either. At first the original "Phantasm" was released overseas as the foreign distributors saw fit (title and artwork). So "Phantasm" was "The Never Dead" (only) and "Das Boese" (the Evil One/the Evil) in Germany. As the sequels came out, Germany started displaying the "Phantasm" title on the jackets as well as the original German title.
