This looks like what your talking about, yeah it would be nice to have in any collection for sure! I also notice the hood scoops are different as there is no shaker intake, this I do not have modeled, and I'm not sure about that yet, however I will look into it. also, oh crap is there a pinstripe down the side, hmmm, that might wreck my new paint job....(another thing I'll have to look into.) The cuda I've built for the game is composed of 66 seperate parts each time I put one in a level. the car makes an appearence in about 6 or 7 levels, so 6 x 66 sounds about right... also so far the whole package is approcahing 300mb in a download size, so this will be a considerable download when finished. Here's a shot of the start of the dunes cantina level, this is also the splash screen that starts it as well. (preview) when you arrive after the cinematics the taillights turn off and you begin outside the drivers side door, your adventure starts from there.......

Well, I managed to model a new hood. also I removed the tail spoiler as there isn't one on the car from the movie I noticed, another thing I added was 50/60 rear slick tires to the rear and now all I have to do left is add that pinstripe along the sides....

Bladeghost you rock. The ongoing changes and dedication to the project is amazing! Shoot me a PM if you ever need any clarification/details on all the cuda details used in the phantasm films. Here's a post of the cars from all the series : Keep up the great work! dustinmcneill.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=else1&action=display&thread=1484

Brief update... two more levels almost done. and some more models made. I noticed that the dwarfs I originally made from my previous 1.2 version were kinda outdated even though I'll keep them included I've made some new ones from scratch that are much more creepier also more refinements on the cuda car like a set of ignition keys, thanks to cudacharger for some ref pics, here's a quick view of some of it.

...also If anyone has anything they would like to have in the game in particular or see, let me know and I'll see what I can do... I'd like to see the pink dishwashing liquid bottle near the garbage disposal in Phantasm I. But seriously, in part 3, the dwarfs coming out of the woods would be neat.

This is merely a suggestion because it probably takes a LOT of work to put these things together! But for me, one of the iconic settings for "Phantasm" has always been the "last perfect day" street (Stansbury). I drive down it every weekday (day and night) and it always brings a smile to my lips. What if Reggie's old truck was parked along the street--or better yet right in the middle of the street? And you have to look it over to see what's wrong--where's Reggie? You could look over the ice cream in the left side freezer door first, nothing amiss. Then the back freezer door... Maybe during daylight hours, you could simply make off with an ice cream bar! And during evening hours, maybe there could be dwarf blood and clawprints... I'm probably asking wayyyy too much here. lollol I was also thinking about Reggie's ice cream shop--and being able to have an ice cream fight. Hummmm... something makes me think I'm hungry and need to get some lunch. Keep up the stunning, remarkable work!

I'd like to see the pink dishwashing liquid bottle near the garbage disposal in Phantasm I. But seriously, in part 3, the dwarfs coming out of the woods would be neat. I just have to add that to the window as well as the green blender. the dwarfs coming out of the woods happen after you shoot the hearse in the car chase. I also have the bug in the sink added as well. I keep forgetting about reggies truck and shop, hopefully I'll get it in at some point. oh here's a good one someone posted this on youtube about my crematorium scene... www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUYglv1dEg0"That was...interesting? Actually no that was kinda screwed up, and not even in a horror game sense. You need to see a psychiatrist or some s**t." I don't know if thats actually a compliment or insult.... but whatever, I've added a few items to find and aquire like the bowpin (3) of them plungers and dos equis bottles and other things...and the best one yet is when you pick up a health first aid kit it makes different fart sounds ...I laughed so hard I almost died....but hilarious all the same. fortunatly I recovered and recomposed myself. There is much to do ,find and see in so far what is a 310mb download so far with 15 or so levels to explore, battle and survive in. postmortem, thanks for the reminder for reggies ice cream truck as I keep forgetting about it as there is so much going on otherwise besides this. I may put his shop in somewhere too. new screens soon....thanks! J

Those are all phantastic! Just out of interest, but are you using any sound effects from the films (like the dwarves grunting) or it is even legally possible?

Of course, It wouldn't be the same without them. keep in mind this is an update to my 1.2 version released back in 2006. but compared to this newest incarnation, well theres no camparison...this new version will have you looking for your jaw for at least a week. ;D Here's a new skybox I put in ,I believe this looks much better than the open boring flat plain I had before.

Too cool as usual Bladeghost!!!! The spacegates are awesome, my personal fav (other than the cuda!) Just an FYI, i actually like both shots, the scene with the hanging tree is visually captivating, but also the flat horizon shot stretches the gates into infinity and capture the loneliness of the desert (i love both). Just a by and by and a lil' off the subject, but only you guys here can appreciate this...After watching Oblivion waaayyy back in '99, i was blown away with the spacegates scene where they just keep multilpying. I was like "maybe it's an invasion,,,maybe it's the Tall Man's personal shortcuts to dimensions...maybe..an so on and so on. Anyway, my wife (who is not a Phan) didn't understand my obsession with this so as a joke, just out of the blue for months and months after we would be on vacation or in movie and i would be like, "maybe those gates were for ...". At one point i even just randomly woke her up at like 3:00 am a year later and said, "maybe those gates were for..." and she was like 'What the hell??? You woke me up to ask what? But i was like, 'This is important dammit!" She didn't find this as funny as me and i paid dearly for that, so i hope someone out there in Phantasmland enjoyed this stunt, it was hell to pay to bring it to you! LOL

Thank you my friend that's very kind of you to say. as for your dilema, some ladies don't know or realize men just like to be silly sometimes for no good reason and just to sometimes break up any stale air with nonsense. its more whimsical than anything else and nothing to regret about, your just being yourself with something on your mind. in this case the spacegates from phantasm. nothing wrong with that as its a charming movie series many enjoy that has it's own endearing qualities. or you could just tell her they're for valet parking. see, just being silly... Ok back to the madness... I found out after testing that the desert was better off suited with more vastness as it was originally mostly being due to 'continuity. it may look great and nice but it didn't 'FEEL right. so back to the open plain it went. I guess what I really needed was a better sky with more detailed clouds which I may still do but for now I've changed it back. So far I've gotten most of the levels finished just one or two more then animation tweaking maybe ,ones that work at all...and some fun things as well. I don't know If I'll be able to fit in reggies ice cream truck, but I'll try and see. more soon, Thanks everyone stay tuned....

Bladeghost, just follow your own creative drummer on this--because what you're showing us is so incredibly amazing and beautiful! My jaw dropped at the latest pic of hanging tree with spacegates! Forget about ice cream truck. I'm zipping my lip.

When this is finished and released, everyone will understand why I've taken extra time to make, add and fix things, this will be clearly evident as this is now approaching a 330mb download size. I've gone back and fixed a few animations, object placements and lotsa tweaking. I've also been adding some more cinematics in between levels, theres about 15 or so now I believe. as well as a few more items to collect, like gold bars that go ca-ching! but I've also added new enimies like in these screenshots, like the finger bug, the killer frisbee, lavender lady ,and of course new dwarf models. I've built reggies ice cream truck in a raw state so far but I'm not sure where I'm going to put it yet, as it will round out some of the items from the series to be included. I felt it would've just been a disservice to leave out the ice cream truck, so I built one. as for the frisbee I decided to add a cool tattoo design to the top as it would be just too plain otherwise, so if its not accurate I don't care, anyone can modify the texture later if they like. also included is the bug in the sink which I named jerome.... ;D

How about lemon slices instead and the orange scourpad... Also I'm getting to the point to where I may be done soon, but not before I'm statisfyed with the whole package first. Currently testing a final release , so far it's looking good to being done soon, and it will be an approx 330mb download if all goes well.
